Carlos was a wonderful guide but Sintra is overrated. I went during the off season and the lines were long and it was very crowded. Cascais and Sintra as towns are beautiful but I’d recommend going to the Palacio de Ajuda in Lisbon instead. Far less people but much better palace, very opulent and GORGEOUS!

Sintra was amazing. The tiles, the architecture, the history. The views. Our guide, Ana, was fantastic. She answered all questions in our small group. She was very caring & thoughtful. It is a difficult walk up to Peña Palace. I needed to stop many times. Ana was attentive and patient.

Started on time, small group tour with a very friendly and informative guide Juan. Enjoyed the Sights of Penna Palace, Town of Sitra, Cabo da Roca and Cas Cais. Had enough enough time on our own to wander around and explore. Would recommend.
