Ricardo was a great tour guide. There was just the right amount of time at each location. We had a blast. It was all so beautiful

Peña Palace was amazing. It’s helpful to book through the tour as they organise the tickets and entry time. Free time in Cascais and Sintra was great also. Only reason I’m giving this a 4 star is that it would have been nice to have a little more free time in Peña Palace instead of only 20 mins. The guide will take you through the Palace and give you the history behind some of the rooms which is great but at the end, you’re not left with much time to explore the outer walls and take many pictures.

Bad experience with carlos, he didn’t do much for us and refused to answer my questions. I felt as if I was a burden to him on the tour by just existing. I was very uncomfortable and the others on the tour noticed his attitude towards me as well. Lastly, They didn’t show us all the things advertised in the pictures which I was upset about because I specifically booked the tour for the other sight

The tour is great but Diogo (the guide) was even better to go the extra length on service, where to eat and how to get the most out of the experience!!! 10 over 10!!!
-
Amazing experience. Our tour guise Jose was awesome and knew a lot of the history. We got to tour four places and it was nice being in small groups.
-
Fantastic few hours with our very informative and super organised friendly guide Jahn (Johnny) who shared his great knowledge of Sintra and the local area.Great small group tour which even included a lovley hike to a stunning beach near Cascais.Would highly recommend.

Fabulous day spent with Carolina who was very knowledgeable and made sure to provide us with an exciting and fulfilling excursion. Many stops plus sufficient free time to browse, visit some souvenir shops and sample famous Portuguese custard tarts and pastries. Group was small (8 people) and van was a comfortable ride. Wonderful and efficient company to deal with (Lisbon Riders). Well-organized. Highly recommend!!

This is a very interesting and enjoyable full day tour. It started with a visit to the monastery converted to a castle and substansily enlarged. And followed by a nice visit to the town of Sintra. After a large lunch at very reasonable price, we went to the most western point of the European continent. A very windy place there a lot of people risked their life by stepping out from the safe area. The last stop was the seaside town of Cascais where we could have a rather long, nice walk at the seaside. The first part of the finally last drive had a very beautiful view of the sea and the beach. The guiding that was done by our guide and driver, a very nice guy from Porto, in the van during the drive as well as in the castle was extensive and good. As always in this country his driving was almost impossible competent and impressive. The van was one of a good standard for us passengers, but I was little surprised that it had a manual gearbox and no display with cameras and GPS. There was plenty of time at all stops, so we were never time stressed. The tour took for us over 10 hours, so we had plenty of time for everything. And our guide was always very friendly, and service mined. So, I can definitively recommend this tour.

Great day with a great guide. Rodrigo changed the itinerary based on the weather, traffic and group. He nailed everything. Always found us great parking. He was very knowledgeable from the history of our locations to Portugal history to sports and pop culture. Locations were a must see. Vans were very comfortable, roomy and great air conditioning. It is a king day, but a must do when in Portugal.

A family of five, a solo traveler and a couple — we were were strangers at 8am the start of the tour. At the end of the day we had full bellies, tired and happy, enlightened about Portugal’s history and feeling appreciated of our tour guide Tiago! The highlight of our trip could have been the delicious meal at Toca do Julio in Colares. (I loved my grilled dourado!) or the many historical facts that we learned from Tiago. But truly the highlight was the great experience with a great group of people. Highly recommend this tour!
