The sights we visited were great, but the driver was initially late and since we didn't have any way to contact him, we almost gave up on the tour. It was a quite stressful experience. Things got better once we were on our way and our visit to Sintra was great - it is really a breathtaking place. We also got to visit the old Moorish castle which was very interesting. Both sights would have been event better if we got maybe some more information from our guide on the background of the sights.
The visit to Cabo da Roca was ok, but there's really not much to do there - you visit it just so you can say you were there : After that, we just drove by the beach with the dunes because we didn't have much time left in the tour to stop and give it a proper visit. Visit to Cascais was also very rushed - we spent maybe a total of 45 minutes in the town which was not enough to get a feeling of the place. In retrospective, it would be better we spent more time in Sintra visiting the palace and all the sites available there and maybe stop at Cabo da Roca on the way back. The beach part and the Cascais visit are probably better to visit on your own than in a tour. All in all the sights we visited were great, but the tour organisation could have been better.

We enjoyed this tour and the stops on the tour were wonderful. Sintra was fascinating. Cabo da Roca.......Beautiful! The only reason we didn't give this tour five stars was the tour vehicle could have been a little better and we did not enjoy lunch at the restaurant recommended by our driver. However, the cat that joined us for the meal really liked the chicken and fish we shared with him! We had a great time.

This tour was outsourced to another company. The company that conducted the tour was very professional and I would highly recommend them. However, the company I booked the tour with via Viator was not. They did not turn up on the day that we booked the tour and did not contact us.

We really enjoyed this private tour. Our driver, Telmo, was very accommodating. Since this was a private tour - just the 4 in our party, we could customize it the way we wanted. Of course, we needed to rely on the expertise of our guide/driver Telmo, but he was wiling to make our priorities his. The weather was uncooperative rain and fog in the hills, so we had to modify our plans and we did not get to enjoy the views from the Moorish Castle or the Pena Palace. But that's nature, and not the fault of our driver. Overall, we had a great day and felt the tour was well worth the cost.

Pena Palace is just outstanding and our guide Pedro made it a very enjoyable experience. He was very knowledgeable and helpful giving us a lot of recommendations in Lisbon as well. It would have been nice to have spent some time in Cascais and Estoril but we just drove through these places as there was not sufficient time to do that.

A wonderful day outside of Lisbon. Our professional guide Telmo drove us to Sintra to see the Moorish castle and Pena Palace, then on to Cabo da Roca, Boca do Inferno and Cascais / Estoril. Telmo provided expert information at each site and attended to our every need. I heartily recommend this tour.

Route Tour is superb. Ícaro was attentive and communicated closely from the moment I booked. He made sure each site I wanted to see was visited and went above and beyond by adding Mercardo da Ribeira. Ícaro was charming, patient and runs his business impressively. Nothing cringey about Route Tour. It and #39;s A+.
