This is a great trip, especially if you are interested in the history of Portugal. It was a lot however to see and do in 4 hours and needed to extend to 6 since we wanted to take in Cascais while we were in the area. Since it was raining when we arrived at Sintra, the warm sun in the beautiful town of Cascais was a true treat. We will go back and spend more time there while we are in Portugal, it's worth it.

Diego was amazing as was Sintra. Diego made this experience even better as he is a native son. The place is an absolute storehouse of surprises and we actually ran out of time as there was so much to see. We recommend 2 of these so you can get it all. We had a great time and will come back for more.
-
Good tour and nice way to get to Sintra but didn't get much from the tour guide, he was more of a driver who just dropped us off and let us walk, that was disappointing.
-
Sintra and Cascais were both awesome. Don't miss the Pena Palace! Our guide Daniel was well-informed and gave us a lot of useful information on this tour.
Highly recommend! -
While that day was rainy, the driver should not used bad weather as an excuse for simply acted likes uber driver without doing any guided tour. We felt likes being ripped for paying high premium. The trip was totally unacceptable. We demand a full refund for such nonsense trip.

Our driver, Gonzalo was exceptional. He picked us up at the seaport with precise punctuality and gave us a very relaxed, thorough and immersive tour of Sintra and Cascais. From the breathtaking scenery of the Westernmost point of continental Europe to a delicious traditional Portuguese dinner of freshly cooked fish, this is a trip I will remember forever.

Our top-notch guide, Diego, picked us up promptly at the arranged pickup time. This young man was witty, intelligent and informative. He is very passionate about his country and especially this particular area of Portugal. Although the weather kept us from doing everything we wanted to, he was able to restructure our private tour to make the most of the time we were allotted. All in all it was a wonderful half-day tour. If you have the opportunity to book this tour, be sure to request Diego as your guide. He is an asset to Portugal's tourist industry and you will learn a lot from him in the most entertaining and amusing way!

We had wonderful time with our tour guide. He was smart and knowledgeable
Very caring about what we wanted to see. -
The Sintra/Cascais private tour went well. Our guide was on time and took us into Sintra showing the town and our.choice to see Pena Palace. We didnt get to Cascais as half day really not enough to see multiple sites. Good guide and tour though, but would suggest full day if you have the time.

Daniel our driver was terrific. Vehicle was perfect. However we could only see 2 palaces and less than half hour in city center. Didn’t get to coast. Description should be reflective of this. We did not have much traffic or lines and this was all we could do.
