I really enjoyed the tour. Our guide Luis is so knowledgeable. He guided us throughout the visit and provided explanation of the history and the background (not only dropping us on and off). He also arranged the time perfectly so we avoided the line to enter Pena Palace. Would recommend this tour to anyone who wishes to explore Sintra and Cascais. The places were all so beautiful. Definitely worth the price.

Luis was prompt, polite and extremely knowledgeable about the history not only of Portugal but all of Europe. He provided a rich and detailed narrative of Sintra in both English and Italian, as we were a multilingual group. The only upgrade would have been to allow more free time in Sintra and Caiscas - beautiful areas with lots to explore!
-
Our guide Andre Feldman was a gem! He was very knowledgeable and fun. I would definitely recommend this tour and recommend “Dr Feldman” as your guide.
-
Louis did a remarkable job and was so knowledgeable. We had b en on other day tours leaving from Lisbon and this one was the best! Great day spent in Sintra at Peña Palace etc. Louis was fun, funny and interesting. He completely made our trip! Would highly recommend.
-
We enjoyed our tour very much. Our guide Jose was very helpful teaching us about the rich history of Portugal as we explored the different areas of Sintra.

We had a wonderful trip to Sintra despite the wet weather. Our guide (Luis) was a professional and he wanted to show us all the attractions in Sintra! He gave us much information and worked so hard! Sintra and its surrounding areas are indeed unique and worth visiting

Luis was a very knowledgeable tour guide. Charismatic and well versed, the tour was meticulously planned, Sintra was lovely to see. Pick up was prompt and managed to see all the sights. It’s a shame they day we went it was foggy and wet, great experience though. Thanks Luis! A*

It was a wonderful experience, an excellent organization by the tour guide, with knowledge of the details of each place visited. Awesome!!

We had the most wonderful time on this tour!! Jose was a spectacular guide, filling the drive as well as all of our tour spots with plenty of really interesting information and Portuguese history! We came on a very foggy day so Jose was quick to adjust the itinerary in the hopes that the weather would clear up by the time we were at Peña Palace (so we could get a good view!). First we went into Sintra where we got some delicious pastries and coffee before we walked to our first stop, Regaleira Palace. Regaleira was incredible. We are so glad that we did this tour because otherwise we would never have explored that beautiful palace and its grounds. Jose walked us through and gave us informative and entertaining history at every location with plenty of free time to walk around on our own. Despite the rain we had a lovely morning in the stunning palace and surrounding gardens and Jose picked us up directly from the palace exit which was very convenient! Next we went to Cabo de Roca, “the end of the world”, and again enjoyed learning from Jose on the drive over. We then went to Caiscais and upon Jose’s recommendation the whole group found ourselves at O Pescador! A fantastic seafood restaurant, we had probably the freshest sea bass we’ll ever have in our lives fileted right in front of us. We then followed that up with some delicious Santini gelato and a walk around town. Afterwards, we returned to Sintra to tour Pena Palace. Unfortunately, the fog had not cleared but we still had a great walk around and learned even more about Portugal’s fascinating history! Thank you Jose!!

Our small group Sintra/Cascais tour was excellent - even in the December rain - largely in part because of our exceptional tour guide, Jose. He planned our day to maximize viewing of key sites (Regaleira & Pena Palaces, Cabo da Roca, Sintra) and to catch some blue sky where we could. He was extremely knowledgeable, personable, and had a fun sense of humor that kept our 3 teenagers (and us!) entertained and engaged. He even sat and visited w/our family over coffee and pastries in Sintra which was a special treat. We learned so much and had a memorable day. Highly recommend both the tour and Jose!
