I highly recommend this tour! Our guide Andre was a great source of information, and incredibly friendly and kind. The tour was perfectly executed -- we got to the Pena Palace in time to be the first ones in line before it opened. While we waited for it to open, Andre filled us in on everything we needed to know about the Palace and its history before we even went in, allowing us to spend our time at the Palace getting to explore on our own and at our own pace. We then moved on to the Quinta de Regaleira. Again, Andre told us about the fascinating history of the estate on the way there, and then let us explore for over an hour on our own, giving the option to wait in the (fairly long) line to go into the inverted tower or, for those that didn't want to wait, to simply explore the grounds. We then had a nice lunch in the town center and drove the scenic route back to Lisbon, stopping at Cabo da Roca to explore. Andre also gave us great recommendations for our time in Lisbon as well as a ton of information about Portugal's history and culture. We were very glad we did this tour!

Andre was our tour guide with Portuguese for a Day Tours. He was on time and our small group party consists of 8 people The ride was very comfortable and I appreciated what a good driver Andre is. He is a magnificent historian and we learned so much as we drove to each sight. We got in early and beat the lines. I would definitely want him again. He’s is courteous, kind, punctual, knowledgeable and responsible! What more can you ask for!

We were in Lisbon for most of our time in Portugal and so visiting Sintra was a new experience. With our tour guide Phillipa, the experience was made even better. She gave us the history of the town from her perspective as a child as we weaved through the narrow streets. The folklore and mystery of the Palace and the meaning behind the staircase at the Regaleira Palace. Then we polished off the day with a traditional Portugese lunch with Vinho Verde. I completed the day falling even more deeply in love with Portugal. Tips: wear comfortable shoes and clothing as you will be walking a lot. Sometimes uphill. Carry a jacket because it will get chilly.

This is definitely one of the best day tour we’ve had. Our tour guide Planned everything so well that we entered Peña palace before the long waiting line! Compared with some other trips which require travelers to buy tickets ourselves, and within the right time slot, this is totally hassle free. Our tour guide is very friendly - like all the lovely Portuguese here, and is very knowledgeable of the local history and culture. All the stories behind this breathtaking scenery he told us, made us appreciate the local culture & nature more. We highly recommend this day tour to all visitors to Lisbon!

Would highly recommend! Andre was a great tour guide and knew all the tips and tricks to see all the popular sites. The tour started slightly earlier than other tour companies which allowed us to see sites before they got super busy for the day. Andre gave us suggestions before each stop but allowed us to explore on our own which was great. It was the perfect balance between being guided and still having the freedom to explore how you want. It was great to visit popular areas without having to worry about transportation, purchasing the correct tickets, etc. Was well worth it to do the tour!

Our guide, Filipa, was wonderful and these sites are not to be missed if you’re visiting Lisbon. Peña Palace was beautiful even in the wet fog of the mountainous terrain and Quinta da Regaleira was magical. Well worth it!

Excellent trip to Sintra-would highly recommend. We went through the palace and Regaleira on our own but much information was provided regarding the history prior to entering. Additional bonus was the trip to Cabo da Roca which was beautiful!
