  • The weather didn't cooperate, but our guide Mike more than made up for it. He is learned, funny, and personable. Even more, he presented a unifying philosophy to the sights. I particularly enjoyed the cave experience which he managed to turn into a journey of self-actualization. The tour was just the right length and allowed us to experience the beautiful Portuguese landscape, almost untouched by commercial development. If you are lucky enough to get Mike as your guide, make sure to ask him about his charity work You'll be amazed. Fine value, and a unique experience.
The pacing of the tour is fine, but it's a full trip. Those who want souvenir collecting and kitschy restaurants, look elsewhere. Those who want a glimpse into Portugal's soul should take this one.

  • Comprehensive one day tour, with very nice sights, and a great guide !

  • My friend and I did this tour in March and thoroughly enjoyed being driven by Patricia. This is the best way to visit these spots, rather than do individual excursions. Caiscais is a cute little village, with some imposing homes as well, and a longer stop would have been appreciated, especially as the weather was balmy. The Cabo da Roca stop was exhilarating, as it is with a feeling of wonder that you gaze out over the Atlantic from the western-most point of Europe. Sintra is gorgeous and Pena castle was a sight to behold and visit. Just wandering the large gardens is a pleasure in itself. The Qunito da Regaleira was an absolute delight - the imaginations of the owner and architect who worked together on this marvel, are an inspiration. Do yourselves a favour and book this tour.

  • Very good small group tour to see the Sintra area.

  • Loved the tour, I would recommend it for any type of traveler. You will see a lot, and the tour guides are extremely knowledgeable and make the entire trip enjoyable.

  • This tour company was amazing and extremely accommodating. We were a large group and needed 2 vans. The entire booking process was simple and they arrived just as arranged. The vans were clean and comfortable. For obvious reasons we could not travel in tandem we took the tour on a work day but they attempted to arrive at the sites as close as possible. During the tour, our drivers were full of rich history facts about the sites at the beaches, Cabo da Roca and Lisbon/Portugal in general. We were chaperoning thirteen 15 year old teenagers, who wanted to know and see more with our guides. The guides really captured their attention, especially during the tour of the wells at Quinta da Regaleria...if you have the time, I would definitely suggest touring the grounds at Quinta. It is a maze of secret passages that the entire family/traveler will enjoy. You will have plenty of time to sightsee at the various stops. We loved it. This is a full day trip which includes a stop for lunch. One quick tip, remember in Portugal when you go into a restaurant, there may be food already on the table bread, cheese, butter, meats...these small plates are extras, not included in your meal and can increase your lunch bill. Thankfully we were given this tip ahead of time.

  • We were in Portugal late-November 2017. This was an excellent tour, so glad we took it. It was very well organized and professionally handled. Miguel, our tour guide, was very good he was punctual, well informed, polite and very knowledgeable about the areas we were visiting and had great anecdotes to share. Miguel's knowledge about the history of Portugal was exceptional and made for a very interesting day. I would recommend this tour, Viator, and Miguel.

  • The trip was amazing and so was our tour guide, Stanislav. We visited beautiful places which were made more interesting by the guide's explanations of the history of each one. Vary varied tour, from beaches to castles in a very relaxed full day activity. Would love to do it again and recommend it anybody visiting Portugal.
