  • Make sure to get your Catacombs ticket from your tour guide at the Eiffel tower! Thankfully their was someone who spoke english and the admission person at the catacombs was nice enough to let me in without it. Catacombs are for those that love history and anything death related. Its dark, a little could, and the air can get stale but the history and display is worth the walk underground. Having a skip-the-line admissions was worth it because the line was wrapped around the building and was at least an hour wait.
Eiffel tower skip-the-line, be careful to read where you will meet your guide. I almost missed my group because you do not meet at the tower. You end up meeting two or so blocks away. Yes, they will get you in and up fast but there wasn't a huge line to get in and up.

  • Enjoyed the tour, the tour guide was informative, helpful and very knowledgeable. Her enjoyment of sharing the history and stories was great. Nice small group so had fun meeting and having lunch with the others. The walk thru the gardens and small village was very pleasant

  • catacombs were fantastic, as was the Eiffel Tower, but the summit was closed due to high winds. I have emailed Viator in the hope that a refund is completed. We shall see.

  • History was great but walking thru was just so many bones and it made me sad

  • The tour guide for the Eiffel Tower was very entertaining and informative. Not having to stand in line was a blessing. The view from the summit is amazing! The Catacombs were very interesting and much different from catacombs we have toured in other countries. The only drawback is that it is a long way from the Eiffel to the Catacombs. We had to take a cab.

  • even though the weather was ordinary, our tour guide was excellent, and made the rather wet and gloomy experience a delight.

  • Skip-the-Line is the way to go!!! We would have had to wait over an hour to get into the Tower and the Catacombs.

  • We are so glad we got the skip the line tickets. We were inside the Eiffel tower in minutes and t gave us more time at the summit. A short subway ride and we came out right at the entrance to the catacombs. The line was around the block but we walked right in. Truly enjoyed the tour and learning the history of the place

  • I can’t imagine the wait if we had not had the skip the line admission to the Eiffel Tower and the Catacombs. This saved a lot of time! The lines were extremely long for both.

  • It was a rainy day in Paris when we went to the Eiffel Tower and Catacombs. The lines weren't too bad for the Tower because of that and I hadn't read the instructions correctly, so one of my daughters took over and we rushed past the Tower to the street beyond where we needed to be to be with the group. We made it in time but our hearts were racing. The young lady giving the tour was great! We got our tickets to the Catacombs and went there after the Tower and here's where it was really great that we had the tickets because lots of people wanted to get out of the rain and get down below, so the line wrapped around the building but we were able to bypass it and go right in.

I wasn't sure why we wanted to go see lots of bones, but was I wrong. It was such an interesting tour. I had no idea of why all the dead were placed underground. We learned a lot.
