This museum is amazing and filled with really beautiful pieces of art- everything from the floor to the ceiling is impressive. It is a museum that is a must see in Rome. The gardens are also impressive... but massive and best if seen by renting a golf cart or bike (built for 1-4 people). There is a viewing area that is peaceful and amazing. Our tour guide was very monotone and although knowledgeable- 3 of the for of us walked away to look at the items solo due to the "sleepiness" of the guides voice.

The guide was knowledgeable, and the gallery was amazingly beautiful. The group size was good, not too many, not too small. However, it was disappointing that it did not include the walking tour of Villa Borghese Gardens as described on the tour description.

We visited Rome for Christmas from Austin, TX and had a wonderful tour of the Borghese Gallery and Gardens with our tour guide Elisabeth (Elisabetta). Elizabeth is a lifelong Roman and was incredibly knowledgeable about both the collections within the gallery (Bernini's and Caravaggio's ) as well as the history of Rome/Italy and the gardens surrounding the gallery. This was my second trip to the Borghese Gallery and I find it to be the finest museum in the world due to its masterpiece collection, relatively small size, and limits on the numbers of visitors allowed in at any one time. The only negative is that two hours (which allows the limited number of visitors) is not nearly enough to see the whole gallery, but I would highly recommend doing it with a guide. Elizabeth was excellent, and I would highly recommend her for the Borghese tour or other tour sites in Rome.

We are glad we picked this tour. Elizabeth was very knowledgeable and passionate about art. Our tour of Gallery and garden was wonderful.

Our guide, Fede (sp?), was a walking encyclopedia, bringing such depth, insight and history to each piece encountered that we felt enlightened and moved by the tour’s end. So often a museum tour can overwhelm or fall flat, this tour was just right in time, information and scope.

The tour was excellent. The tour guide made the gallery come to life. The best tour guide we had all week. our favorite gallery of all Rome. Don’t miss this gallery.

This is an excellent tour of the gallery with highlights of the best works of art. After the gallery, the tour continued down the gardens.

My tour guide (can’t remember her name unfortunately) was the best every story she told about the art pieces we were shown was super entertaining and she knew a lot about each piece we were shown because she herself was passionate about them too! Would recommend

So many pluses for this tour. Multiple Italians describe this as their favorite Rome museum and it’s easy to see why from the notable collection of art, sculpture and rich marbles, designed not for living but for hosting parties. Fabio our guide began by memorizing all 14 group member names and used them throughout the tour to engage the large audience. We also had audio devices. Fabio’s knowledge, passion, and stories made this a rich tour. One note: If you have difficulty standing for long periods, you can use extra chairs in the various rooms. Grazie, Fabio!
