Meet the guide at the designated meeting spot. After a brief introduction jump the queues and follow your guide into the first venue - The Colosseum.
This enormous and equally awe-inspiring structure was built by the emperors nearly 2000 years ago to entertain blood-thirsty Romans. Your passionate and savvy guide will describe the games and the hunts performed on the arena of Colosseum, will give you an insight into gladiatorial combats and provide you with an expert commentary on the architecture and history of Colosseum.
Time to take a break. The guide will give you some free time to take pictures and use the restrooms.

Stop At: Roman forum, Rome, Lazio
After the short break it is time to continue to the Roman forum. You will skip the line again and enter this huge marketplace that used to be a nerve center of ancient Rome. Your guide will make sure to show you the most interesting and important points at this large site and explain their significance to you. You will have plenty of photo opportunities at this awe-inspiring place.

The last venue of the tour is The Palatine hill, the birthplace of Rome and the place where rich and famous of The eternal city lived. You will have some of the best panoramic views of ancient Rome from the top of the hill, and of course, your guide will bring the ruins to life for you.

Jean Luca from More Of Rome was an outstanding guide. He was knowledgeable, pleasant and easily understood. There was our group of 6 plus another couple from New Zealand so it was like a private tour. We left slightly before our scheduled time of 9:00 which was good considering 30,000 visitors a day visit this area. At times when it was more congested, headsets would have been nice. Other than that, it was a fantastic tour.

Dimitri has a wealth of knowledge on the history of the Colosseum and Roman Forum. I learned so much that I would not have learned on my own. There were only three people in my group, so it was easy to follow along and ask questions. He was sensitive ro the extreme heat and the need for rest and water breaks as well.

We were really lucky that my son and I were the only ones who signed up for the 9:00am Colosseum, Forum and Palantine Hill Tour. We got a private tour for 3 hours with Dmitri who was very knowledgeable and great with my 8 year old son. He took us all around the three areas and gave us some interesting and unknown facts.
