Know More about this tour

Meet your guide in a central Madrid location at 8:45am. After a short walk, you will arrive at the Royal Palace for skip-the-line access. This is an early entrance experience to this amazing palace, and offers a chance to enjoy an uncrowded experience.

The Royal Palace was built in the 18th century upon the ancient Baroque Italian style fortress of the Habsburg. It is one of the most beautiful and best preserved palaces in Europe and a symbol of the permanence and consolidation of Madrid as the capital of the Kingdom.

The Palace was the official residence of the Spanish Monarchy from 1765 to 1931. To date, the most stunning receptions of the Spanish Crown are celebrated here: audiences, dinner parties, signature of agreements, and the traditional ceremony of presentation of Credential Letters from foreign ambassadors to His Majesty the King.

  • This is an amazing building, and this tour lets you in before the general public. We moved freely between the beautiful rooms and our guide Rocia was terrific. She has a good manner and provided an excellent description of the palace. This is the best way to see the palace.

  • I needed to move this tour. The people there wouldn't even discuss it. Told me to contact the place I bought it. Ended up not going and wasting my money on the trip.

  • If I could give more stars I would. We went at the best time, 9am, because later, the Palace is so crowded, you can't really enjoy the tour. The Palace itself is so amazing with the art, statues, painting on the frescoes, and gold, it is the best tour to me. Also, our guide, Barbara, was exceptionally informative, and kept the perfect pace, as she guided us through the 30 rooms of the tour.

  • This tour was amazing!

  • This tour was well worth doing as you have the chance to visit the rooms before everything was opened to the public. We had a young and very animated guide who made the history of the palace come alive. She was great and definitely knew her stuff. The use of headphones so you could clearly hear what she was saying was very effective.

  • This was a time effective way to see the Royal Palace and absolutely worth the extra to skip the line and get in an hour early before the heat of the day go too much. The queue as we left was massive so it was great to have avoided that. The Palace is stunning. Don't miss the Armoury!!! Incredible collection of jousting equipment, suits of armour and horse armour

  • A great way to see the palace early in the day before it is open to general admission. Our guide was knowledgable and her English was good. But we were rushed in some of the rooms so that we could not spend the time looking at the displays that we wanted to.

  • We had a great guide and hence a great tour. The 90 minute tour was the right amount of time with lots of detailed information and great sights. You can only take photos in the entrance not in the royal rooms of the royal palace. Taking a guided tour enhanced our experience of our visit to Madrid.

  • Barbara was a wonderful guide! Just the right amount of information! In English!
