This all worked out OK - lunch was actually fabulous -we had so much fun with it - BUT you have to meet at a random spot to gather up and even though lunch is not until 12:30, you have to go with them to the Eiffel tower at 9 am - your entire group must meet at 8:45 - I didn't understand that, and of course, they just blamed me. I still got us tickets in the regular line and we got to enjoy lunch! that part was delightful. The bus was also challenging to locate, but we managed... just be aware of the fine print :)

Horrible!! Each activity had a different place to pick up tickets and the lunch was oversold so we couldn’t have it on the actual day we paid for which was tragic because the whole trip was put together to celebrate an amazing little girl’s birthday to grant her wish of celebrating in the Eiffel Tower and it was paid for but we couldn’t make her wish come true because it was OVER BOOKED! They took our money but didn’t give us seats and it was so disappointing! To not get what you paid for so far is advanced is unacceptable!! To make matters worse we were forced to come up with a new celebration within hours and nothing turned out right! The vouchers this company gave us to access hop on and off didn’t work. We had to go to the main office to get “real tickets”. Then travel to another destination to get river boat tickets and call reps because they had no idea we were paid customers!! I need Viator to help pay my cell phone bill because I spent an incredible amount of time on my phone trying to get info to trouble shoot this situation! Totally horrible experience!! Never will use this company again

When I arrived, I was as unable to use the Viator voucher and had to pay to get into the Eiffel Tower. Very disappointed!!!

One of the best days we have ever had. We missed our meeting time and contacted the support office who were brilliant. They forwarded on to us our tickets so we did not miss out on the day. The meal was superb we even got a table by a window really made the experience. The hop on and off bus again brilliant we opted to stay on the bus for the whole tour to ensure we got to see all the landmarks. The river cruise we did last when the city came to life in lights probably the best way to experience Paris at night along the river Saine. We would highly recommend this for anyone looking to explore Paris.

The food at the EIffel tower restaurant was very disappointing and they need to improve especially as it is a landmark . The bus and river cruise were brilliant .

The Hop on Hop off (Big Bus) portion was just great! They were very convenient, drivers were helpful, the narration as we drove along was interesting and informative. We loved the ability to go where we pleased and to take a number of pictures from the upper level of the bus. The Seine River Cruise was just as wonderful. The guide was clear and informative, the cruise was smooth and went quite a distance. The staff was friendly and helpful as well. The unfortunate part of this tour for us was the lack of clarity of the tour details. Know that you can ONLY have the lunch on the first day of the 2 day pass. This was not stated in the listing when we booked this tour, so we thought we could go either day. When we contacted the actual tour group in Paris, the SARL, they were quite rude and scolded us for not making special arrangements, even though it was not stated anywhere that we needed to make such arrangements. The bottom line: we did not get to go up the Eiffel Tower, we did not get our pre-paid lunch and we did not get a refund. After 30+ years of waiting for this experience, it did not happen. In fairness to Viator, when I got home and was able to contact them and explain the situation they did say that they would modify the booking description so this would not happen to anyone else. while I appreciate this, it still put a damper on our trip to not be able to complete this part of the tour.

I enjoy the view on the Eiffel Tower and their delicious lunch. As well as, I learn a lot about Paris on the hop on and off bus and the cruise.

The hotel and I both tried to call the supplier the day before to confirm my reservation, which had been made weeks before. The supplier would not answer the phone. Finally, Viator was able to make contact with the supplier, who told me to show up for lunch at 8:30 am. When told that would be crazy, he said to show up at 11 am. We did, but we were told to come back at 12:00 because the supplier had overbooked. One poor customer, who had several guests with him, had his reservation cancelled. My advice is to avoid Viator unless there are absolutely no other options.

The hop on hop off bus was great but the process of redeeming the online voucher was a NIGHTMARE! It seemed that no one new the correct area to send us to redeem the voucher for a proper ticket. Finally when we found the correct kiosk, they had no reservation for us. It all worked out but was stressful to say the least. The area below the tower is under construction for the next Olympics, the venue for Volleyball of all things, so this may have been a cause, but there were still no signs or anything.

    • 10-Apr-2018

The Eiffel Tower/lunch was very nice, but getting there was a nightmare! Not knowing which line to get in, and having no one around to ask made us late for our reservation. Better instructions are badly needed. The River cruise was fine, but the River was too high so we were not able to pass under the last bridges to see Notre Dame, but this was not the tour to blame. The Bus tour was a bust, because it started pouring, so everyone got on the bus and we could not sit, see, or hear anything, so we got off without seeing any of the sights.
