Know More about this tour

Meet your guide at the Arc du Carrousel, near the Louvre Museum in central Paris. The world-famous art gallery draws the crowds, and its entrance lines even in the quieter evening hours can be long. Bypass the lines with your skip-the-line entrance ticket, and head inside to discover the Louvres wealth of artwork.

With some 3,500 pieces of art, a visit to the Louvre can be overwhelming. So remove the hassle, and follow your guide to uncover the museum's highlights. Stand before Da Vincis Mona Lisa, one of the best-known pieces of art in the world, and hear little-known facts about iconic sculptures such as the Venus de Milo, an ancient statue of the Greek goddess Aphrodite. Learn about the different genres of art represented at the impressive gallery, and hear tips for things to look out for as you walk around the exhibition space.

After 2.5 hours inside the museum, your wine experience starts! Stroll the short distance from the Louvre to nearby Les Caves du Louvres a quintessentially Parisian bar.

Take a seat, soak up the welcoming ambiance, and enjoy your flight of wine three glasses of different varietals that have each been selected specially for your group. Team the wine with some nibbles, too, and savor melt-in-the-mouth charcuterie and pungent cheese as you chat about French art and food with your guide and group. Your tour finishes inside the wine bar, but you can stay for longer if you wish.

You can also choose to upgrade this tour with a Wine Bottle Labelling option, where you can design your own custom label, and at the end of the experience the bottle filled with your succulent selection and adorned with your one-of-a-kind personalized label is yours to take home and enjoy.

  • While I enjoyed the Louvre, the wine cellar and tasting was the high point on this one. Definitely a must do!

  • We arrived at the meeting point at 6:15pm, the tour did not begin till 7pm. The guide rushed us through the Louvre. We were not given any time to take pictures or go to the souvenir shop. My partner and I needed to use the bathroom and when we asked the guide, she had us wait till we get to the wine tasting at 8:20pm. She explained that the lines in the Louvre were too long and we had to get to the wine tasting by 8:20pm. During the tour she was rushing us to see approximately 12 items including the mona lisa. I would never recommend this tour. The guide was rushing to get us to the tasting. The wine tasting ended at 9pm. We paid for labeling and our own favorite bottle which was not provided. I made sure to ask the host if that was the end of the tasting since people started to leave and he explained to us that it was. Instead of a tour including a wine tasting, just get tickets for skipping the line and a tour of the Louvre. Make sure to end the tour inside the Louvre bc they will not let you back in and there are thousands of exhibits to explore.

  • This tour is supposed to occur in the evening when the crowds are lighter. We couldn’t even see the Mona Lisa, let alone get close to take photos. Enjoyed the wine tasting.

  • This was a nice way to see the most famous artworks at the Louvre without having to hunt around on your own. The guide was terrific, with a great sense of humor and very knowledgable. The wine tasting is actually a ten minute walk from the Louvre, but was very professional. Great wine and food!

  • Amazing evening tour with very few people to deal with inside the museum. Saw all major attractions and then walked around the corner to a cava wine bar....enjoyed some appetizers and a few wines from sancerre....a fabulous night!

  • Fabulous, there will never be enough time in the Louvre but we saw the stuff we needed to see and our guide was lovely and helpful. We only had a small group of 3 of us so it was very intimate and personal. The wine tasting was fantastic, what a lovely evening learning about wine! Best tour.

  • Tour was great. I would have preferred more time at Lourve than at wine tastings.

  • We had a wonderful tour of the Louvre with an excellent guide. But since it was an evening tour the sun was down and the museum was not well lit and it did not show the art as well as it should have been exhibited. The other thing was the crowds. So very many people. I had thought we were visiting after hours and it would be less busy. That was not the case. It was very, very full of people and the whisper sets allowed in ambient sound so it wasn't easy to hear the guide. If you love art, this is not the best tour. If you aren't that big on art, this is probably a perfect tour. It's relatively short and you see the most famous pieces in the museum. The wine tasting was fantastic and thoroughly enjoyable, very informative. Nothing but kudos for that part.

  • We were looking for highlights. The Louvre is SOOOO BIG! Our guide was very knowledgeable and interesting. Unfortunately, we had a long day and were exhausted so we skipped the wine tasting.

  • Adam was the best tour guide that we have ever had. His enthusiastic and informed commentary really made the Louvre and enjoyable tour.
