Know More about this tour

Meet your guide at the Arc du Carrousel, near the Louvre Museum in central Paris. The world-famous art gallery draws the crowds, and its entrance lines — even in the quieter evening hours — can be long. Bypass the lines with your skip-the-line entrance ticket, and head inside to discover the Louvre’s wealth of artwork.

With some 3,500 pieces of art, a visit to the Louvre can be overwhelming. So remove the hassle, and follow your guide to uncover the museum's highlights. Stand before Da Vinci’s Mona Lisa, one of the best-known pieces of art in the world, and hear little-known facts about iconic sculptures such as the Venus de Milo, an ancient statue of the Greek goddess Aphrodite. Learn about the different genres of art represented at the impressive gallery, and hear tips for things to look out for as you walk around the exhibition space.

After 2.5 hours inside the museum, your wine experience starts! Stroll the short distance from the Louvre to nearby Les Caves du Louvres — a quintessentially Parisian bar.

Take a seat, soak up the welcoming ambiance, and enjoy your flight of wine — three glasses of different varietals that have each been selected specially for your group. Team the wine with some nibbles, too, and savor melt-in-the-mouth charcuterie and pungent cheese as you chat about French art and food with your guide and group. Your tour finishes inside the wine bar, but you can stay for longer if you wish.

You can also choose to upgrade this tour with a “Wine Bottle Labelling” option, where you can design your own custom label, and at the end of the experience the bottle filled with your succulent selection and adorned with your one-of-a-kind personalized label is yours to take home and enjoy.

  • Tour was great. I would have preferred more time at Lourve than at wine tastings.

  • We had a wonderful tour of the Louvre with an excellent guide. But since it was an evening tour the sun was down and the museum was not well lit and it did not show the art as well as it should have been exhibited. The other thing was the crowds. So very many people. I had thought we were visiting after hours and it would be less busy. That was not the case. It was very, very full of people and the whisper sets allowed in ambient sound so it wasn't easy to hear the guide. If you love art, this is not the best tour. If you aren't that big on art, this is probably a perfect tour. It's relatively short and you see the most famous pieces in the museum. The wine tasting was fantastic and thoroughly enjoyable, very informative. Nothing but kudos for that part.

  • We were looking for highlights. The Louvre is SOOOO BIG! Our guide was very knowledgeable and interesting. Unfortunately, we had a long day and were exhausted so we skipped the wine tasting.

  • Adam was the best tour guide that we have ever had. His enthusiastic and informed commentary really made the Louvre and enjoyable tour.

  • On the whole, it was good. Not what I expected, but enjoyable. I know the Louvre is BIG, but really felt rushed. The guide was knowledgeable. The wine tasting was fun and that helped to make it worth the money!

  • We had a tour that seemed a bit rushed through the highlights of the Louvre. You couldn't stop to read anything or take the moment in.
The best part was avoiding the crowds and being able to actually see your surroundings, even if you had to hurry. It is such a beautiful building!! Our guide did not transmit the best vibe. She used phrases like lazy bastard for some artists or she's only famous because she got stolen. The wine and cheese experience was lovely but the tour information did not prepare us for the 20 minute walk to the site, outside of the museum when the tour is over the tour guide casually mentions a 10 minute walk it is not so. We expected something inside the museum, surrounded by art work etc. The two are not related. Overall, we had a good night but I would share these details with my friends before recommending it.

  • Sylvie, our tour guide was AMAZING! Great tour! love the wine tasting and customize your own wine bottle add on!!

  • Book this tour! Our guide was Adam and he was outstanding. He clearly has a passion for the art and communicates this passion in a clear, concise, and interesting presentation. The tour is easy to find and the pace is perfect for the average art admirer wanting to take pictures. The wine tasting was also informative and excellent. I would rate either activity on its own very highly. Together, they are an outstanding tour.

  • Wonderful tour!!!

  • This was an outstanding tour. Guide was extremely knowledgeable, and the Wine Tasting experience afterwards was not only impressive but also off the charts as an experience. Would highly recommend anyone to select this experience.
