Know More about this tour

Make the most of your time in Florence with a 3-hour tour of the popular sites and monuments!

Meet your guide in a central spot of the city and explore Piazza Della Republica, where the ancient Roman Forum originally was.

Walk to Piazza della signoria, the political heart of the city and listen to the history of the Florentine Republic, the Medici family and the Palazzo vecchio. Admire the sculptures which make this piazza one of the most famous in the world.

Proceed to the Ponte vecchio and admire its jewelry, and hear the unique history of the Vasari corridor, passing above it.

Arrive at the Pitti palace, once the private residence of the grand dukes, and admire its splendor. Continue your walk through The oltrarno, the bohemian area of Florence full of artists, workshops and lovely cafes.

Cross the Ponte santa trinita and stop for a stunning picture to the Ponte vecchio from this side. The tour continues along Via Tornabuoni, the fashion designer street where you will be amazed by the beautiful windows.

Pass through Palazzo strozzi's courtyard and admire the essence of the Renaissance architecture.

Continue your walk to The duomo, and admire the Cathedral, Brunelleschi's Dome and the Baptistery. If the line is not too long, we will also see the inside but sometimes lines are so long and nobody here has the priority.

Afterward, walk to the Accademia, where you will have preferential entrance and see the original Michelangelo's David and the Prisoners. The guide will tell you every secret of these statues and Michelangelo's life.

Please note: The tour ends outside of the Accademia museum.

Every first Sunday of the month, it is not allowed to reserve tickets. Entrance to the Cathedral is not possible on Sunday morning and if the line is too long - nobody has priority entrance.

Simona was a wonderful tour guide! We upgraded to the private tour,. which was nice because we were able to go at our own pace and spend more/less time at certain places based on our interest. We also had a chance to ask questions. It was a lovely afternoon where we were able to learn more about Simona as a person, while taking in the breathtaking views of Florence. It was a relatively slow pace, so definitely not too intense, but she checked in to make sure we were okay. She also helped us get a photo with the wishing boar amid a crowd of tourists and flagged us on who the pickpockets were. Thank you, Simona!

Brian was a great guide - he knew a ton about art history and took us to some great sights in Florence including the fabulous David. Smaller group too (less than 10). Just don't come to Florence on a holiday, it was wall to wall people. Thank you Brian!

Jessica, a Florence native, did a spectacular job of sharing the best of Florence. Her background in art made our trip around the buildings and archetecture in the city so enjoyable. I highly recommend this trip! Jessica did a great job!
