Cindy was very nice and knowledgeable- she talked a lot but I wish she had focused more on observations about the paintings and explained them to my daughter instead of talking generally about the time period or artist. In general I would recommend but keeping in mind that for a child it is easier to relate to what is in front of you.

Paloma gave us a terrific tour. She explained the technique, the beauty, the historical context, and the critical reception of the artwork in a way that was engaging for adults as well as my children (ages 5 & 10). After the tour, we walked back past a number of items and my daughters were able to recount many aspects that Paloma taught them.

Learning about the artists and various important artwork. The history and information was excellently presented at a great level for my 10 year old (and me too).

Major props to our tour guide. Our 11 yo son was not feeling another museum tour that morning (we had just done the Louvre the day before and had already been traveling for a week). She was kind, engaging and so informative. She eventually won him over at the Opera House display and he is still talking about it! We were really pleased with the kid-focused tour and although my husband and I had been before, we left with so much more insight!

Thank you to Tatia who was amazing and kept our son engaged for a 3 hour + tour. She was patient, knowledgable and even took us outside for a tour. Much appreciation!

Tatinana was an excellent tour guide. Very knowledgeable and well informed. She made the tour extremely interesting.

Musee D’Orsay has always been one of our favorite museums and remains so after this tour. We never hired a guide here before but decided that since we were bringing our teen daughter that a guide would help us make it more meaningful for her. We had a great guide who taught us things we didn’t know about the museum’s history and also provided more in-depth discussion on the large collection of Impressionist work there. She was knowledgable, kind, and great to talk with and my daughter enjoyed the visit too.

We chose a private tour at Musee D’Orsay with our 8-yo son - 2 adults and a child. Our guide Christiana (sp?) was excellent! She was so engaging with our son and so interesting. Even though we both were familiar with impressionist works, she taught us things we never new and we saw the art in a completely new light. Money we’ll spent! We were all inspired!

This was our favorite tour out of all of our tours. Anna was warm, kind, fun, and well-prepared to bring the Musee D'Orsay to life. She surprised us with fun opportunities to interact with the art, told great stories, was able to "read the room" about when the kids needed to take a break, and felt like a member of the family. In fact, my nine-year-old even said, "I wish she could be our nanny!" Note: we've never had a nanny, which I guess means she felt like she could be a second mom. That's some high praise!

After a week of tours, this was top on our family’s list. We have three kids, ranging in age from 9-21 and each of them thoroughly enjoyed themselves. Even more than that, my husband, who typically does not enjoy museum tours, said it was his favorite. Inna, our guide, did an exceptional job of organizing the tour around the major movements leading up to impressionism through post-Impressionism. We all left with a much better appreciation and understanding of this important era in art.
