After the visit to the Palace, you'll have free time to discover the massive gardens of the Palace designed by Andre Le Notre. This tour allows you to maximize your time in Versailles with a 5-hour visit in the domain of Versailles.

The Chateau de Versailles has been on Unesco's World Heritage List for 30 years and is one of the most beautiful achievements of 18th-century French art. The site began as Louis XIII's hunting lodge before his son Louis XIV transformed and expanded it, moving the court and government of France to Versailles in 1682. Each of the three French kings who lived there until the French Revolution added improvements to make it more beautiful.

At the end of your visit, find your tour leader at the meeting point in order to go back to Paris. You can choose to be dropped off at Champs-Elysees/ Etoile or at the Opera House of Paris.

We had an amazing experience at the Versailles Palace and Garden. Such a nice place to visit with breath taking views.

The only thing that ruined our day was the bus picking us 1.5 hours late back to our hotel.
We were aware that there were traffic issues due to the transport strike, but they should have left earlier than usual to plan ahead. Luckily I did not have my son with me. I would not have imagined, having my 3 year old son with me, waiting for the bus for 1.5 hours in very cold weather (6 degrees celcius) after a very long day outside the palace.

Otherwise, the place in itself is a must visit.

Misleading website description. Transportation, entrance fee, and audio guide is all that is provided by company. You are on your own until scheduled bus departure. Bus transportation unreliable. We stood in the cold winter weather for 90 minutes past the bus departure time waiting on a tour bus to pick us up.

No information or get a personal tnfo, no guidance, skip this your,- go by yourself. We were left off in P ARIS on Xmas eve on taxi,s available to take us back to hotel.

Just about an average tour. Not all that impressed. The Pick Up and drop off was good, but the Palace itself was not all that good. Have seen better, especially for the money we paid.

  • 29-Nov-2019

The Palace is beautiful and the tour was well scheduled. However it is a pity that no background information was given about the palace on route to the palace. Knowing the history of the palace would have made the tour much more meaningful and interesting.

This cultural, historical event was beautiful and full of information. I loved walking the halls of royalty.

If your in Paris this is a must see. You walk through this amazing palace and then the gardens which completely take your breath away. It was history and beauty rolled in one!

  • 29-Oct-2019

We traveled with small children. We’ve been there many times. We had to wait in 4 different lines in the rain, for a total of over an hour. Then my wife got separated from us at security and our guide would not let me help her with the stroller and the kids.

    1. The address to the pickup point was wrong. It said " Etoile: 2, Avenue Foch" it should be "Etoile 8" This was a source of confusion and scrambling at the last moment.

    2. There was no heads-up that bathrooms would not be available for 3 hours from the initial boarding of the bus.

    3. If headphones were not to be provided the literature could have suggested that we bring ours.

    4. The guide could have explained better what to expect once in the castle. I had no idea of what to do or that there were restaurants inside the castle.

It was rainy and chilly, still mobs in line a mile long. A bit of a wait for "skip the line", but worth the price to skip the mile. Rain paused for gardens and fountains, so overall great experience. Note that group tour entered in the middle of the palace tour. Ask for History and Daughters. Host wasn't clear about that. Also note, fountain show starts at 15:30, not 15:00
