  • This was a terrible waste of time and money! I couldn't find my 'guide' who was supposed to meet me at the castle. When I arrived there were absolutely no queues anyway. I wouldn't bother with this again!

  • Im not convinced you really need this ticket, we arrived 20mins prior to the meeting time as was instructed and had to wait the full 20 mins until our guide arrived. He then proceeded to tell us where to go etc but spent far far to much time on this. We didnt really learn anything we didnt know or that the map on our ticket did not show therefore the time wasted could have been used to forget about skipping the line but just going and buy our own tickets, we also had a lengthy wait to get into the cathedral so the ticket didnt let us skip any lines except the actual entrance ticket. I would just go and buy your tickets at the gate.

  • We were disappointed with the castle and expected to see more but the cathedral was magnificent

  • I would agree with some of the other reviews - I don't know that you really need a skip the line to get your tickets. We went on a Sunday, and the gates opened before the cathedral opened. Everyone has to wait in the security lines to get in. I will say, it is much quicker to go to the side entrance and NOT the entrance for security up the castle steps. The side entrance is right at one of the tram stops and that security entrance has 4-5 metal detector walk throughs where the step entrance only has one. We couldn't get our tickets from the tour guide until 12 but by then there were probably 500-600 people already in line to get into the cathedral. We had been there early but didn't realize that there was a giant line forming so we were just walking around until we realized that everyone was already lining up. We had to leave one of our family members in line while we went to find our ticket guide. I don't know that I saw a line at the official ticket office.. maybe so... and then I guess this would have been worth paying the extra money... just know that you need to line up 30 minutes or so before the cathedral doors open. As far as the tickets go, these tickets get you into 4 different areas. There are several other areas you could see but that are not included.

  • Loved it! Castle was amazing and the grounds that were included in the ticket were also worth seeing.

  • I should have read ALL of the fine print before purchasing. These tickets for the B route, not all of the buildings, and cannot be used until 12.05. We ended up having to wait for 45 minutes to start exploring and were then unable to see everything we wanted. What's more, there was not a queue at the ticket office.

  • A total waste of time. Could have bought tickets at the counter for cheaper price. And this was peak season

  • The guide was helpful and gave some overview of this place of interest and at the same time provided clear instructions on how to proceed on with the tour on our own. Definitely a convenient way to skip the line to gain access to this place. Recommended to anyone who wants to cut the hassle of queuing up for the tickets

  • good for not waiting in the queue to buy tickets. The brief introduction from the guide was good in order to tell us the main points and where these are.

  • You are not skipping the line to go in the castle. This is completely misleading, you are only skipping the line to buy the ticket! Also the guy was not at the appointed time of 11:45 20 mins prior. We had to rearrange our whole trip to just make sure we got our tickets from the guy at 12:05 and then go wait in line for the castle, What a waste of money to pay extra for this! They are just selling you the prebought ticket and give you the suggestion to go wait in line at the castle some time after 1pm. I will always read the negative reviews as I can't imagine how there are even positive reviews on here.

Do yourself a favor and buy your tickets after 1pm and then go to the castle. You don't even need a ticket to step foot in the castle. You can wait in line, they have a waiting area where everyone has to scan their ticket before they can go in the turnstile inside the castle, you just look in the waiting area and then walk out the exit to your right.
