Nicholas Chapel : One of the off limits area of the Vatican museums is the Chapel of Pope Nicholas V. Here you will enter a tiny chapel that was painted by the Dominican Monk Fra Angelico from the 1448; the Chapel is considered a real treasure of art of early Renaissance. The frescoes have very bright colours and they are representing scenes from the life of St. Steven and St. Lawrence.

You will see the famous Sistine Chapel. This is the most famous masterpiece of the museum. Here you can admire the spectacular frescoes by Michelangelo such as the Last Judgement and the Creation of the World with stories of the life of Noah as well.

Bramante Staircase is another special place closed to the public and it is visitable only with special admission. The Bramante's staircase is a double helix staircase built for the Pope Julius II to allow him to access to his apartments with his horse carriage.

The Raphael's Rooms where commissioned to the young Raphael by the Pope Julius II who had in the 1500s at his service the best artists such as Bramante, Raphael and Michelangelo.
