  • Davide was a charming guide whose lively and humorous presentation engaged us and our teenage son while showing off some of the treasures of the museum and helping to put them in context. The small group format was very intimate and personalized. We appreciated his making time for the highlights of the Raphael rooms. As an architect, I would have liked a bit more of a presentation on the architecture of St. Peter's, but that's not really a criticism of the tour. Overall, it was great!

  • Our guide was amazing!!!

  • This was a wonderful experience with ARTVIVA. My mother and I were dropped off by an Uber driver in the opposite direction of the Vatican entrance and had to run approximately 1 mile through St Peters square to arrive in time for the tour. We were called by the company to find out if we were coming. When we explained what had happened, they kindly waited for us which was a blessing. Deborah, our guide, was extremely knowledgeable and delightful to work with. The Vatican is so crowded, but we still learned a lot from her and since there were only four of us, we were able to gather around her easily to listen. I am sure that the tour ran over the allotted time as we left St. Peters in the dark, after 6 pm. I highly recommend this company, this guide and this tour!

  • Our tour guide was Lisa I think I am so bad with names ways fantastic! She was so knowledgeable and was so helpful. It as an amazing experience. If you come to Rome you have to do this tour because if you do it by yourself you will not get the full experience unless you memorize a tour book. You always want to do a tour so you skip the lines but also learn as much as you can. My husband and I are thankful we had Lisa as a tour guide perfect English, and knowledgeable. It was one of our highlights on our Rome trip. I am an ar history major and loved it my husband is in tech and thought it was amazing. It ended up being a privet tour bc no one else signed up. We got such a good deal on this experience.

  • This was one of the most amazing tours I have ever been on! There were only six of us which was excellent. Our tour guide was so passionate about her job that it took us four hours instead of 3 and it just flew by! She kept our attention the entire time with how knowledgeable she was about the Vatican, Sistine Chapel and St. Peter's Basilica. We would highly recommend this tour! Make sure you get your tickets online prior to heading to Rome as you will wait in line 3 hours. We arrived, met with our tour guide, and walked right in! Thanks again for a wonderful adventure!

  • Fantastic tour with our guide Luca D, who was in turn funny, erudite and always personable. Unless you are already an expert in religious and art history, I would definitely recommend taking the tour of the Vatican with a guide - they really bring the history of the Vatican and the artworks it contains alive.

  • Great tour!

  • Nadia was our guide and we loved all of her wonderful information. I would highly recommend this tour to sll

  • This tour was well worth the money. A little long but I don't see that as a negative aspect considering all the things our guide covered. Skip the line tours are 100 the best option in Italy as the lines are long to get in AND you have someone to explain what you're looking at. I highly recommend!

  • It was nice to have a guide through these amazing sights. Our guide's accent was so thick, we couldn't understand much of what she said, though.
