Lucky that we were only 6 in the group and had an audio system. The guide spent a lot of time in the museum and when it came to the churches we were just rushed through. There were too many people. We thought we should been able to spend more time to stop and appreciate the works inside the chapels and have time to take pictures. We were basically walking and taking pictures.

Hard to understand the guide. It would have been nice to know in advance that St. Peter's Basilica was going to be closed. closed

The guide Giovanna was knowledgeable and obviously proud of her Italian heritage... with good reason. The museum and Sistine Chapel are astounding. I think one attribute that really helped with the 3 hour tour was her sense of humour. It is quite irritating making your way through crowds of people all wanting to keep up with their tour guide. She kept us together, holding her umbrella high all the while explaining the tapestries and ancient art.

We enjoyed our tour very much. Think it could have been alittle shorter.

We very much enjoyed this tour. We had plenty of time in each place, and 3 hours was just the right amount of time. Our guide was helpful in helping us find the bus stop to get us back to Rome after the tour ended. My only complaint was our guide was hard to hear at times, most likely because there were so many tours going on at the same time and there was too much interference with the headsets provided by the Vatican museums.

This tour was designed to get you through the Vatican Museums, Sistine Chapel, and St. Peter's Basilica as quickly as possible. My family and I were herded through massive amounts of people to see the highlights of the trip with little or no time to look around at other items or even contemplate the pieces we did see. We spent a total of 5 minutes in the Sistine Chapel. Our tour guide was difficult to understand and even more difficult to keep up with. She expected everyone to push and shove through the crowd in order to stay with her. She also criticized other tour groups vocally over the radio receiver, which I found to be offensive. Once we arrived at the Basilica, we happily ditched her and continued our tour independently.

Tour guide although very knowledgeable rushed through the tour. By her own admission she had to finish with our group because she had another tour in the afternoon. It seemed she was trying to cram 5 hours of information into a tour that lasted about 3 hours. I felt we almost ran through the sites, trying to keep up with her. I realize the tour operator places the pressure on the guides to complete as many tours a day, the more tours the more . For 125.00 for two I don't believe we got our money's worth.

Our guide was EXTREMELY knowledgeable! She took initiative and got us in and around in local fashion. Highly recommend this one!

I think this would be an awesome tour if the crowds weren't so overwhelming. Our guide, Barbara, was very knowledgeable and with good English. She was respectful of her group of people and of the rules of the Vatican. We were all appalled at the noise and the picture taking in the Sistine Chapel. There was not a bit of respect by the crowd and it was so disrespectful. The beauty of the works of art are awesome and should have taken everyone's breath away. I hope some day to return and be able to enjoy some time at the Vatican and it's numerous museums and art without the incredible amount of people to fight my way through. It is still worth going on a tour with someone who is knowledgeable of the most precious artwork.
