My partner and I highly recommend this guided tour of the Vatican Museums and Sistine Chapel. Our guide, Annalisa, was excellent -- knowledgeable, friendly. We enjoyed it immensely.

Great tour! We ended up paying twice because we got lost from the subway after my phone, that I used for navigation, was pick pocketed at the subway, arrived late and missed our 8:30 AM tour, only to be talked into paying for the next available tour by a salesman on the advice we we can get a refund for the earlier tour that we missed. However this was not the case when I contacted customer support. My advice is if you arrived late and missed the tour, don't think you will get a refund. I traveled with my family of 9, including my 86 year old grandmother and 3 children, so a very costly mistake to take the subway and get pick pocketed. Very misleading salesman to think we can get a refund and pay again!

The particular day we went to the Vatican there was practically no line so this skip the line pass was really not needed. We did not do the guided tour as we didn't have much time, so we basically overpaid about 30 euro to skip ahead of about 5 people.

LInes to get in were very reasonable so the skip the line wasn't necessary in a November weekday. Don't be late because you will lose your time slot like we did. Tour guide was very accomodating and got us in the next available time. Also make sure you get dropped off at the exact spot listed on the confirmation. Vatican city has many entrances. It took us 30 minutes of walking to get to the right pickup spot. The tour guide called me using a phone number listed from Ireland. I ignored the call not realizing it was him. If the number was a local number I would have answered - my only real complaint.

The meeting point for getting the tickets is far from the museum entry and meeting point of other tours. We also missed our time slot due to the metro being very busy. Regardless, the staff promptly managed to accommodate us in the next group. As a suggestion, maybe try simplifying the whole thing having only one meeting point for all tours.
The museum is huge and crowded, and will require patience to go through.

Touring the Vatican does not require a guide but you would be nuts to try to do this on your own. Spend the money to get a full tour, earlier in the morning the better, then if you really need to visit come the next day and repeat on your own. The tour guides do get special treatment and you do skip lines! (Very long lines). Educated guides, head phones, good pace.

Way to crowded to experience the sistine chapel. Rushed thru the area so did not take the time to see everything on ceiling. Just tried to follow the crowd out of the chapel.

This stipulated it was for the Vatican museum and Sistine Chapel but it also states that administration to St. Peter's Basilica was free. What it doesn't say is that going directly from the Sistine Chapel to St.Peters is NOT allowed with this tour but IS allowed with the guided tour. So with this tour you have to exit the museum, walk all the way around Vatican City, then reenter thru the front gate and get in line with about 5,000 other people if you want to see St Peter's Basilica.

Good way to see Vatican but hard to figure out directions to redeem tickets, address Vatican City, was not an actual redemption point, tour guide helpful, needs to be more accurate on where to go redemption point was where you met tour guide a little confusing.

We went on a Saturday which was our only full day in Rome. Big mistake! The no-wait tickets got us in after about a 10-minute wait, compared to the hours-long wait otherwise, However, the Museums were so completely crowded that it was impossible to enjoy the visit. The Sistine Chapel was literally a sardine can, with guards ordering the jammed together visitors to keep moving. The visit turned out to be an unpleasant experience. Do not go on a weekend if you can avoid!
