Gave us the whispers and a map, but they also sent us with a guide and he helped us through the line and gave us instructions as to how we should start our tour and a little history.

The meeting place is across the street from the train station close to the McDonalds. We had an 11AM appointment, once we checked in we were given appliances that will be used in the Palace and we were told to come back at 11:30 to meet our guide. The guide walked us to the entrance of the Palace. Once we were in the Palace, we were given instructions on how to use the appliance during the self guided tour. You could stay as long as you wanted to at any place. The appliance to be used during the self guided tour was worthless!! It did not sinc with the room or painting! We saw other tours who had appliances with numbers on them that matched what was seen. Wished we had signed up with that tour!!

Our tickets also allowed us to visit other gardens where were in the very far end of the garders, so be prepared to walk a GREAT distance.

Overall a good experience. During the peak summer travel, I would recommend buying tickets in advance.

This was a great tour. It goes without saying Versailles is mind-boggling. The Marie Antoinette Estate was a bonus that wasn’t open the last time I visited in 2006. The Guidators people were friendly and helpful. They helped us get to their office when the RER C line (which stops right across the street) was closed for construction. Their office is just around the corner from Versailles, about a 4 minute walk.

Great pass, gets you to the entrance and through security quickly since you are technically with a tour guide, but then left to do your own tour at your own pace. The guide company gives you the headset/guide info so you get the full experience. What we liked most about this pass was our access to the gardens, which are stunning. You must visit the gardens if you head to versailles. My only tip is to make sure you read the details on where to meet at the start of the tour to get your materials and stuff. It was at a location a few minutes walk from the palace; we accidentally went right to the palace and had to backtrack to the guidaTour office. This made us late for our tour but they were able to accommodate us and put us on the next one.

Wow, wow, wow - what an amazing attraction. It was very easy to catch the train to Versailles and supper easy to find the shop to collect our audio guides and the tour guide, who took us through the skip the line entrance. Eduardo was our guide and very friendly.

The opulence of this magnificent landmark is overwhelming. We took the train ride around the property which gave us an appreciation for the immense size of Versailles. I didn’t realize that we could have eaten at an outdoor café at the bottom of the hill until after we had eaten at one of the only two eateries outside the main building. My only recommendation is that more thought is given to this aspect of the experience.

The regular line was long. But this tour didn't really skip the line. Rather, you were ushered to a side door with 53 other people in your group where you were put in a queue with several other groups of 50+ and allowed in on a timed basis. Once in, you basically merge with all groups plus everyone else waiting in the regular line. I felt like there were 100,000 people in the palace at the same time. I know, that’s an exaggeration, but it felt that crowded. You are packed in shoulder to shoulder and herded from room to room at a slow and steady pace. Stopping to listen to the information on your audioguide is a futile effort because you are constantly being pushed forward. There is no way to get a good picture unless you want to show your friends and family just how crowded it is. The damage being done to the palace with that many tourists on a daily basis must be immeasurable. My suggestion: skip the palace, but the book, and just tour the gardens. They are lovely and expansive.

My wife and I took this tour in early May 2019. It was great, easy to meet up with the group, quick access to Versailles, and the audio guide provided was excellent. I recommend this tour to anyone want to go to Versailles and after seeing the lines there this is the quickest way to get in. We got there early in the morning and the normal ticket line was about 1000 yards long. I can't imagine how long the lines would be in July or August. We walked to a side enterance and were inside in 20 minutes. Can't beat that!

When we arrived at the Palace of Versailles we were able to skip the very long line and go straight to the palace grounds. The palace was very nice and I am so glad that we went. When we got to the gardens, apparently this skip-the-line ticket did not include that area because it was musical fountain day and we would need to pay an extra 32 euros. My husband and I were definitely not interested in the musical fountains. We just wanted to see the gardens and then Marie Antionettes quarters. We ended up having to walk 2 miles around the palace, down a side street and up to the Petit Trianon. Once we got there we ended up hopping on the trolly back to the main gardens. It was an interesting day. We definitely got our exercise in though.
