  • Tour guide was excellent and very knowkedgeable.

  • We were fortunate enough to have Jo as our guide, she was absolutely great, she was friendly, extremely knowledgeable and shared lots of info with us. We were a small group and Jo ensured we got to all the best vantage points at all the right times. Jo answered all my niece's questions and gave her extra little bits of info. It was a really interesting tour, could not be improved in any aspect and was much easier than rushing about with the crowds/tourists trying to get ourselves in the right places. Huge thanks to Jo and we will definitely be booking more london tours.

  • Perfect!!! Sandy our guide really knows the history...

  • Danielle was an awesome tour guide!!!! She was knowledgeable, informative, fun and definitely got us to the best viewpoints imaginable! When the Queen's Cavalry Guard was leaving, we were only about 2 arms lengths away from the horses...a view like no other!!!! As the tour description warns, this tour involves quite a bit of fast walking almost jogging at times but is necessary to get those pivotal points for the best views. This was probably the best tour I had during my week in London!!!! Bravo to Danielle for the great job she did!!!!

  • Pre-Book A Private Tour for the Changing of the Guards, it's Fantastic!
This was my 4th time to London. I usually find myself missing the entire Changing of the Guard process or running after the Guards for a photo. I decided to splurge and booked a very reasonable tour 25 per person hosted by a Guide to see the Changing of the Guards.
It was the BEST 25, I spent. My Mum and I pre-booked a private tour on Viator, 15 people max. We departed from the Duke of York Statue which is a little hard to find cause you are looking down and not up at the staircase for the statue and Londoners have never heard of the statue.
The day we went we were the ONLY people on the tour! So a semi-private tour turned into a private tour! Phil was our tour guide and he was extremely knowledgeable about London, Buckingham Palace, the Changing of the Guards, Sherlock Holmes and all things London. Phil knew exactly were to take us during the entire 1 1/2 hours Changing of the Guards, who knew there was so much involved? He explained everything that was happening, described what the white and black color Queen's uniforms symbolized, how to detect when the Queen was at Buckingham Palace, where to be and at what time! These are details which we never would have known.
Instead of the quick 3 or 4 blurry photos, I managed 54 photos!

  • Very knowledgeable tour guide! Full of fun facts! Definitely got some awesome pictures in the best spots thanks to him :

  • Our guide was very knowledgeable, as a senior citizen I was huffing and puffing to keep up with her. It's a great idea for younger folks with more energy.

  • Tour will take you to 4 prime spots to view. Would not have known if it wasn't for the tour. Only recommendation is to wear jogging shoes because you will speed walk to each location. It is also challenging if you have a small kid

  • This was an excellent tour and I highly recommend it. Our guide was so knowledgeable and knew exactly where to go to see every aspect of the changing of the guards. Without this tour we would not have seen the full ceremony. In addition our guide provided commentary so we knew exactly what was happening.

An added plus was we saw Queen Elizabeth drive by us twice.

If you don't take this tour you will really miss out on the full experience.

  • Marni was our tour guide on the day and she was absolutely fantastic, very informative, always making sure we had the best spots for our photo's and happy to answer any questions we had. She had us marching along with the bands, it was so much fun. I would definitely recommend doing this!
