The Roma Capitale farmer's market at the Circus Maximus was created to give Romans and tourists a unique experience with the authentic local food and wine traditions directly from the farmers, breeders and shepherds who have preserved them for generations. Here are the products to lord it: the Cori artichoke, the Romanesco broccoli, the puntarelle, the Trevignano tomato, but also the cheeses like the mythical Caciofiore of Columella, the marzolina, passing through the olives of Gaeta, the truffles of Campoli Apennines, honey, beef and pork and a fresh milk dispenser.

This class was a blast. Monica, the chef was very knowledgeable and pleasant. Her assistant Roy was very kind and helpful as well. This class is a great chance to learn about selecting ingredients and making pasta from scratch. It also was a great experience to meet and have lunch with people from around the world. I would suggest this to anyone. It was a great way to spend 5 hours in Rome.
Watching and listening to Victoria explain technique, for example how to add pasta water to thicken the sauce. Also, what steps are the most critical. It was also fun to learn how to roll the fusilli.
The entire experience was great! The group bonded well and really learned some techniques! The space was perfect and the brief history of the area was also appreciated!
I loved every aspect of the class. Fabio was a wonderful host/instructor! We had a delicious and educational experience.
Unfortunately not what we have expected, you will not learn much. The whole cooking we did was chopping some vegetables and mixing dough, no information was given about the cooking process, the quantities, or anything else. At the end we did not even get the recipes of what we „cooked“. The chef and Assistent we’re doing most of the cooking without much explanation of what was happening. If you really want to learn something, this is not the course, if you want cute activity to say you cooked pasta in Italy then is ok.
Shopping at Farmers Market for fresh ingredients, making our own fresh pasta multiple ways. Dining on our fabulous creations so satisfying.and meeting Chef FBio was the best of course
We joined Chef Victoria and a young couple at Largo Argento on our way to Campo dFiore for a wonderful day of food market, crusty bed, fresh vegetables, and lovely pasta. This was truly a one of a kind adventure. We spent the 5 hours laughing and talking as we were creating pasta and appetizers and wonderful secondi. We met the nicest couple ever to share our adventure with. What a great way to spend a day - creating great food, drinking fine wine, and basking in stories of Rome.
Chef Fabio Bongianni was a great character and Roy was very helpful. Kitchen is in such a unique part of Roma
Really incredible food with an exceptionally talented chef. A few things though for negatives that prevented a 5 star review. First the chef was pretty late and I didn’t get any notice from the company, second he really was on his phone for probably 45 minutes to 1 hour of the three hour experience, and lastly there was a lot of different dishes that we made so the cooking was a bit hectic. Since we made so much there was not much instruction, and instead a lot of “chef points and you do X” which is fine, but I would have preferred to make less and learn more.
My husband and I were the only 2 in the group so we got a 5 hour private cooking lesson with Monica. She explained everything in great detail and answered all of our questions. The tour started with trips to various stores and the open market where we bought the food we were later to prepare. We made 3 kinds of pasta and it was all so easy and fun with Monica's guidance. Our 5 course meal was OUTSTANDING and ended with a wonderful chocolate lava cake. We HIGHLY recommend this tour as Monica is great!
