It was a great day out and well worth the money
You really learned a lot about champagne and the region
Lunch was really nice and at the other champagne houses you sample a lot more than the bigger ones we visited
    Well worth it

This tour was great! The guide was very nice and very informative. There was more champagne than you could possible drink at all the different places we went to. Don't pay for the upgrade tasting at Moet et Chandon bc it forfeits the tasting that comes with the tour you do not get additional tasting as we were told we would.

    I had a wonderful time!

Our tour guide,Marie, was excellent. The small champagne houses were informative and enjoyable experiences . The Moet and Chandon tour was antiseptic and obviously absolutely scripted for the tour guide and didnt give any insights into the aspects which distinguishes Moets champagne from others. It would be much more rewarding to have some time with those involved in Moets champagne making process. Overall a wonderful day in Epernay.

Great day tour of Epernay. Raphael our guide was excellent and very knowledgeable. Learned a lot and enjoyed great lunch.

Tour guide Laura gave us such detail as I did not have when I took the tour 2 years ago. I learned 10X more than I did on my first tour about the nature of the grape mixtures, growing conditions, and selling procedures for the vineyards. The lunch at Chopin wineries, called Millesium I believe, was a bistro affair and paired with 3 champagne products! It was the opinion of all on the tour that this was the best champagne on tour, which was evidenced by the bags and crates of their product in the back of the van. We continued on to a a small family production vineyard called Bouche which also so gave us tastings of three products and also resulted in more buying! The van was very comfortable and Laura made the trip the best. Ask for her.

In general we found this tour to be OK. We traveled from Paris by train, changing trains in Epernay only to be driven back to Epernay for the tour. Our trip could have been shortened if we had been picked up there. There was also quite a bit of repetition at each stop in terms of the process to make Champagne. Our tour guide also repeated much of the information. Since we visited and toured several cellars, I guess this was inevitable. Our guide was pleasant and professional and the vehicle was clean and comfortable. Possibly somewhat overpriced.

This was a good tour, and the guide was very knowledgeable, but I would suggest a microphone be used as it is difficult to hear if you are sitting in the back. Also if the SUV used had doors that opened on both sides, it would facilitate getting into and out of the SUV, especially if you have elderly people on the tour. The tasting was great, but I thought the lunch was just mediocre.
