This was a great day in the Loire Valley. The chateaus visited were remarkable and the guide was knowledgeable and excellent. The lunch at the winery gave the participants in the tour time in interact and become friendly with each other.

Getting to the meeting place fairly easy. We stayed in Nantes and had to take a train to Tours. The tour operator was very helpful in suggesting how to get there. We met our tour guide there. She was a lovely woman and I forgot her name! (Started with an "L" I think, but the wine was effective :-)). We started out in Blois and Cheverny. They were some beautiful chateaus. Our guide was very well versed in the history of each area, and she made it very fun to learn. Our next stop was lunch at a small vineyard. There the owner provided us homemade lunch and paired some of their wines with each course. It was truly wonderful! Our final stop was Chambord and my goodness, it was a great way to conclude the tour. Overall, a wonderful tour and highly recommend it.

Fantastic, dont miss it. Simon our guide spoke excellent English and had a great sense of humour. These Chateaux were so different from each other. I dont really want to say too much for fear of spoiling the trip for others. The wine tasting and lunch was delicious and as we were a small tour it really felt like a lunch with friends. The wine was absolutely lovely and we bought a nice bottle to have with dinner that night. I could not recommend this tour highly enough, we certainly dont have anything like this in Australia, thank you it was a fair dinkum day with our guide Simon.

It was a great tour! The guide was informative and the lunch at the winery was lovely - good food and good wine. Was a lot in one day but didnt feel rushed, Especially with the time of year - no crowds to fight.

Had an amazing day visiting the Chateau in the Loire Valley despite bitter cold. Bus really comfortable and small group. Delicious lunch and wine tasting - fabulous tart tartin! Guide friendly and personalised the tour nicely. Confusion about starting point led to last minute panic.
-
Lovely tour of three châteaux, and our guide Simon was terrific. He was very knowledgeable and offered plenty of history about the places we visited, especially when he realized that all of us on the tour were interested in the history. We did sample 3 different wines with an excellent lunch made in a shop that specializes in local products, but not much info was offered about the wine. So I'm not sure I would call that component of the day a wine tasting experience. We had a great day, though, and would definitely recommend this tour.

The tour was very organized, fun and I would recommend it to a friend.

Small group and very knowledgable guide. Great lunch with exceptional wines. Highly recommend

The castles, wine and food were amazing and Manon was an awesome tour guide. Loved every minute!

A little bit confusing at the start as there are so many tour buses at the meet point, but after this it was an excellent day. There is a lot to pack in so if you want longer at any site, separate arrangements would be advised. The guide Martine was excellent and very informative. A nice lunch with good wines but not really a tasting experience.
