This tour offers you the best of western England, combining the popular and beautiful city of Bath, the ancient Stonehenge Monument, the charming village of Lacock and more. Enjoy a drive to Bath on an ancient road used by the Romans almost 2,000 years ago. Pass ancient burial chambers and Silbury Hill, a 4,000-year-old man-made pyramid. Uncover further signs of past cultures as you pass historic taverns, monuments and White Horse hill carvings.
Firstly, we head to Stonehenge amidst the ancient and historical landscape of Wessex. Here, your guide will enrich you with facts and theories behind this famous Stone Age structure erected in about 3,000 BC. After taking time to explore this impressive and mysterious site, enjoy a relaxing drive onwards to The georgian city of Bath.
Once called Aquae Sulis because of its natural hot springs, the city of Bath dates back more than 2,000 years. Take a guided tour of this elegant city with its squares, crescents and terraces, and learn about the famous Roman baths. In the 18th-century Georgian Era, the rich and wealthy arrived from London to 'see and be seen' here, and to take advantage of the baths hot waters to alleviate their stiff joints. Before making your way to the mysterious Monument known as Stonehenge, there is time for you to enjoy a delicious lunch in one of the restaurants nearby (own expense).
Spend the afternoon in the delightful village of Lacock. Untouched by modern hands, this charming place has been used in many films, such as Cranford, Pride and Prejudice and the Harry Potter movies. Enjoy a guided tour of this lovely village and its unspoiled appearance with your small group before making a short journey along the back roads of the Cotswolds hills to the elegant city of Bath.

Great trip, tour guide and driver. Highly recommend it. Had lovely weather, nice group of people in the van and overall a great experience. Thank you!

Tony was a great tour guide. Knowledgeable and funny. We had a great time seeing the sites and meeting other travelers in this small group. Great tour! Highly recommend.

Tony was an outstanding guide! We had a blast and learned so much about the area that we never would have learned on our own. We are so grateful for this experience and hope to do another tour with him again.

What a lovely day! The clouds parted as we arrived first thing at Stonehenge- beating the crowds. And the guide was knowledgeable and enthusiastic about the history of the sites. I personally appreciated his pop culture knowledge- surprising me with the filming location of modiste from Bridgerton. I enjoyed a wonderful lunch at one of the cute pink bistro tables- sipping my rose and listening to live music from the nearby square in Bath. I also appreciated that both the guide and driver cared about making the day the best possible for us- and always kept track of everyone - providing regular bathroom stops and even helping to hail a couple of cabs at the end! Andrew is a gem- and the tour organized and professional. This is a perfect tour for a nice relaxing day.

Our guide, David, was very enthusiastic, ready to share his knowledge with the group! We really appreciated bis eye for detail, it was a fantastic tour, wod definitely recommend!

I did the "inner circle" tour of Stonehenge and it was definitely the way to go. Stonehenge and the history was really amazing, but the ability to walk amongst the stones was fantastic. The stop off at Bath and Lacock were great additions to the trip also. Our guide and driver (Leon and Mo) and were helpful and informative. Side note: I was travelling solo, which was fine for the tour, but booked the evening viewing for Stonehenge, which meant arrival back at 10pm and night. This is important for travel back to my accommodation as I was not comfortable taking the underground alone that time of night. Uber to the rescue. :-)

Our tour guide Tony was amazing. He was informative, funny, accommodating and concerned that everyone got the most out of the experience. He clearly loves his job and his country as it showed throughout our day. When we go back to England, we will definitely request his services again!

Bath was amazing, seeing the Roman baths was truly a treat. The true treasures were Lacock and Avebury. Really neat to see the old towns and all their amazing history. Would have liked enough time to have a pint in the pub in Lacock, but it was great nonetheless. Tony had an immense amount of knowledge on the history, the buildings, birds, etc. Great guide/host.

While we did sign up and pay for this tour, scheduled for late April, Covid-19 forced cancellation. That said, everything leading up to it was excellent. Our initial inquiry (and subsequent questions), were answered quickly, they assisted with pin-pointing the tour that best fit our needs and, when events forced the cancellation, were quick to offer a refund, with options (ie. future credit, discounts or cash).

This was a lovely day trip during our trip to the UK. Both our guide and our driver were incredibly friendly and helpful and brought across a great love of the area. Like most tours, we always wish that we had more time at each stop, but it's a lot to pack in to one day! We loved our time in Bath and Stonehenge, but a highlight of the tour was the henge at Avesbury. This was an amazing stop and being able to walk right up to the stones was incredible.
