Afterwards visit the Asinou Church, located on the east bank of a stream. Then proceed 3km to the mountainous village of Nikitari where you will see Panagia Asinou Church, which is a small church dedicated to Virgin of 'Phorbia'. It is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and contains some of the finest Byzantine paintings on the island, dating from the 12th to the 17th century. There you will have free time for optional lunch at a nearby restaurant.
Next visit Lefkosia (Nicosia), the capital of Cyprus. You will have free time for shopping and coffee right in the centre of Nicosia known as Ledra Street.Last but not least, you will go toLarnacaand visit the magnificent 9th century Church of Saint Lazarus, one of the finest examples of Byzantine Architecture in Cyprus. You will then be returned to your hotel in Paphos.
