Great trip - Derrick was a fantastic guide - kept us informed and entertained at every turn - very knowledgeable about all things Phoenix and Grand Canyon

  • 09-Mar-2020

Nate our driver and guide was extremely knowledgable about the locations, geology, related folklore, and history. That certainly made the (relatively) long drive pass by quickly. We had a good amount of time (˜3 hrs.) at the GC, incl. a ˜2km trail along the south rim which was quite easy. The views were truly magnificent. He also made a sufficient number of stops. It would be worth 5 stars if lunch was included.

Les, our driver, was a talking encyclopedia. He was most excellent at the first viewpoint in the Canyon, where he pointed out so much to us (and any random strangers). He was a safe and extremely experienced tour guide and driver. Saw herd of elk at the Canyon! Only negatives: 1). too many rest stops - like one an hour; 2). Windy and cold in Feb (but then, that kept the crowds away too); Les talked non stop for hours - too much info to process...more silence would have enhanced his narrative.

A great experience overall and highly recommend, perhaps in March.

We had a fabulous time with Mark as our tour guide. He was very informative and had a great sense of humor! The weather was perfect and he took us to multiple viewpoints. Highly recommend!

The day trip from Scottsdale to the Grand Canyon was a positive experience from start to finish. Our tour guide, Robert, narrated the history of Arizona with humor and storytelling. He spoke a lot about cactus and demonstrated considerable knowledge of the Grand Canyon. Seeing the splendor of the South Rim is breathtaking and an experience I shall never forget.

Derek was a fabulous and personable tour guide. He is an excellent driver and knew times for when we would be arriving at the different locations on the tour. He was knowledgeable on the Grand Canyon and it was clear he enjoyed his work. Couldn’t have been a better experience. Thank you Derek.

We had a great experience on our trip. The driver was knowledgeable and very friendly. While we stopped in William for a break, I twisted my knee stepping off a curb. After that he made sure to drop us off as close as he could to all our stops. While the rest of the group went to the second stop at the Grand Canyon and there was no wheelchair available there, he took me with the bus to 3 observation spots so I could see different views. It was so nice of him. We enjoyed it very much!

From an on time pick up to an early evening drop off, Daniel was an amazing tour guide. He spoke so well on the history, plants, animals, weather and culture of the area. I learned so much which enhanced the trip.

The tour had changed the date due the weather it supposed to stop in Sedona, but be aware that they change the route and the pricing, when I booked it was $179 and the next day it was $170 I still was charged the $179.00 Today 1/2.2010 the price is $187.00. I called them but they will nit credit me for $9.00.. It was a gift for my niece who came from Zurich and wanted to see the Grand Canyon, she had a good time. It was a mini bus place for 13 passengers..

There is no way we would have been able to appreciate and learn so many amazing bits of information
if we had another tour guide. Sam is passionate about the Grand Canyon and his passion is contagious!
His objective was to interact with all 12 of by providing interesting facts and answering questions. He was very conscience of our safety, comfort, and keeping us on a schedule.
Thank you Sam! You’re the BEST.
