Dinner is a social event to be shared with friends and family, something to be savoured over multiple hours and even multiple locations, not wolfed down between activities. Dinner is the activity.

On this authentic Florence food tour, you'll eat as the locals do; visiting the most authentic neighborhood spots to try their specialties washed down with a glass of wine. Then on to the next spot, and the next. With all-inclusive pricing, all you need to bring is your appetite.

Chiara hat eine tolle Führung gemacht. Alles war informativ und lehrreich, die Weine und das Essen dazu waren phänomenal! Dazu haben wir noch tolle Menschen kennengelernt! Absolut empfehlenswert!

Lorenzo was a fantastic and enthusiastic host. It was obvious that he loved food, wine and his city! We love to take local food tours at the beginning of a visit and this tour did not disappoint. It's a superb way to get to know the city!

Amazing experience exploring foods & wines in wine bars & trattorias of Santo Spirito, a neighborhood we might have missed on our own. The 3 hour tour was paced appropriately to savor tastings at each stop. The tastings were plentiful and perfectly paired with the wines provided. One stop broadened our palates with a tasting of lard and learning about its preparation and usage. Another stop provided a variety of truffle spreads and honey, resulting in some take home purchases. The ‘dinner’ portion was a delicious Italian bread soup and a beef stew at Lo Sprone paired with a complex, yet smooth red wine. Our last stop was Gelateria della Passera for creamy, flavorful gelato. Highly recommend the ricotta & black cherry flavor. Our tour guide, Lorenzo, made the evening. He shared insights to his neighborhood, provided detail about our samples and made the whole evening enjoyable. We give him extremely high marks and would request him again. .

Great time with a fun group despite the rain. The group was divided into two smaller groups of 8 or so, which made for a more intimate experience.

This was a wonderful tour and dinner. Lorenzo was great. He had so much enthusiasm for his neighborhood and town! He showed us a little slice of Florence that we wouldn't have seen otherwise. The wine tastings and appetizers were excellent and fun. We finished with a meal, wine of course and gelato.

What a tour. Lorenzo knows the city and the city knows him. You will eat and drink your fill and experience some fantastic local cuisine. If you’re staying longer he also has fantastic restaurant recommendations.
