Our tour guide was not the best (he slept and listened to his phone most of the long car ride) - would have definitely preferred to have heard about where we were driving and more Thailand history. That being said, the stops were awesome and very glad we made the trip, just may not recommend this exact tour as there are likely more engaging guides out there. Really enjoyed the lunch too!

We went on the full day no trekking tour and had a good time but didn’t feel it was worth it in the end. The sites are all beautiful and the temples were absolutely fascinating but our guide wasn’t the most enthusiastic or informative. The whole tour felt very rushed as well and the bus driver drove like quite a maniac. There were positives though- It’s a great way to see lots in one day and the lunch provided was pretty good too! We enjoyed the day but could have also done without it

Our small group of four, Americans from Minnesota and Virginia and a German woman, got a quick, fun taste of mountainous Thailand during our 8-hour excursion out of Chiang Mai. It’s more a sampling of the Doi Inthanon National Park area than a “trek”. About half the time is spent driving in an air-conditional shuttle bus to and from the park region, with about half a dozen quick stops and jaunts. Our very energetic and eager-to-please guide “Bird” took us to: - The magnificent royal pagodas, with a Buddha with fine mosaics in the king’s pagoda, and nice gardens all about - Coffee tasting at a Karen village, and a quick intro to the local flora - A stunning waterfall - A market at a Hmong village. Something of a tourist trap, but we were taken to a stall that offered reasonable prices for good berry wine. - A delicious and filling lunch at a local restaurant, in a scenic, rice-growing region - A brief walk along a nature trail in the park, with a stop at Thailand’s highest point of elevation No real physical exertion. The bus picks you up at your hotel. It is customary to tip the guide. Bring warm clothing; there was frost on the car windows when we went. Your ears may pop during the drive into the uplands. For about $67, it was a good intro, with an overachieving guide, to more serious touring and trekking in the region.

I booked this tour as a single mom with two children, ages 2 and 5. We enjoyed the tour quite a bit. Our guide was HUA. She did a wonderful job and her English was excellent. She was patient with my babies as we were a bit slower getting up hills, and back to the van. The day was packed full. We started at the waterfalls which were amazing. It was sunny so there were rainbows over the waterfalls which was magical. We visited a market, a village, a second waterfall, had a wonderful traditional Thai lunch, walked through an amazing jungle with colors I have never seen before in my life, and then ended the day at the Pagodas. The Pagodas were beautiful. Absolutely stunning. If I had my choice, I would have taken a private tour but because there were only 3 of us, we were unable to book a private car. I wished we had more time to explore on our own schedule. I would have spent a large portion of my day visiting the tribes. I was fascinated by the village life. But overall, it was really a wonderful day. I highly recommend the tour.

After being told to be ready for a pick up between 8 and 8.30 we were picked up at 8.45. The day got worse from there. We then traveled to another hotel for a pick up. After waiting in a cramped van for almost 40 minutes a family with very young children entered the van. We heard nothing from the tour guide at this stage. After complaints from others in the bus the tour guide then spoke. It soon became evident that he knew less English than I knew Thai. We then had to endure an hour and a half ride with crying and disruptive children. The day continued to get worse to the point on each new experience you could only laugh at the incompetence of the guide and his control or lack of control of the group. Unfortunately we also experienced rain and were unable to see and enjoy what I assume, from minimal glimpses, is an amazing park well worth visiting on a fine day. Unless you have a sense of humour do not consider booking with this company. I would wake up check the weather and book my own transport if I had time over again.

Such a beautiful forest, trail is easy to do. Our guide is very knowledgeable and stayed with us at all times explaining everything patiently. Although it rained and the pagodas couldn’t be seen clearly, it was still overall a very good trip. Precious memories. A good tour operator that went above and beyond. Highly recommended. I thoroughly enjoyed my day.

I think the stops were all nice except for maybe the last stop at a local market. That was not necessary. If you're looking to break up the long drive back I guess it's better than a gas station though. I can't comment much more on the stops as we had a rainy day and basically saw nothing but totally not the companies fault.
Our guide Maem was very nice but spoke very little so I can't say I learned much.
I combed the info sheet before getting ready and still found myself unprepared. I forgot that we would be visiting temples and had short sleeves and a tank top on. And the stop at the highest peak was VERY cold (maybe due to time of year and the fact that it was raining) so again my tank top and shorts were a BAD choice.
Overall the tour was ok but could've been better if the tour guide was more interactive and told us more.
