Know More about this tour

To begin the morning, you will be provided with a delicious breakfast snack to enjoy on the way. On the way to Grand canyon West, stop at The Hoover Dam for a fantastic photo opportunity. Included in the price is entry to Grand Canyon West.

At Grand Canyon West, you will ride the shuttle to the first lookout, Eagle Point. The incredible view of the eagle shaped rock formation is something that can only be truly appreciated in person. At Eagle Point there is a Native American Indian Village which demonstrates some living dwellings used by Native American tribes in times of old.

The Skywalk and Skywalk gift shop are also located at Eagle Point. The next stop is Guano Point, which you have probably seen in movies without even realizing. The views at this point are completely different than Eagle Point, but maybe even more impressive. If you are capable to walk it, the dirt trail along the edge at Guano Point provides for spectacular views from different angles.

After visiting Guano Point you will return to the Welcome Center and head back to Las vegas. During some stretches your driver guide will play videos for you to enjoy while passing the time. The buses are all top of the line with like wood floors, seatbelts, comfortable airline style seats, and panoramic windows.

I booked a luxury small group tour to Grand Canyon from Las Vegas. Viator sent me an email the morning before trip to state that the small group tour was cancelled due to maintenance. They offered me 2 seats in front of a big luxury bus. I accepted since I didn’t want to miss the experience. When we arrived at Grand Canyon West the tour was divided in three groups. One for tour and skywalk, one for tour and helicopter and the other was a walking tour which was us. The walking tour was told to wait till the helicopter tour was situated. This took a half hour. We were outside freezing. It was about 53 degrees with high winds. Then once that was completed we went on a shuttle and got off and were told we had to wait for the people attending the skywalk. That took another half hour. Again, we were freezing standing around waiting. The grand Canyon West is beautiful, I just wish the tour was run more efficiently.
