On a 3 hours walking tour, youll explore the culture and history of Hanoi as you step into a world full of street food vendors. Unlike big cities all around the world, street food in Hanoi are not just hot dog carts and pretzel stands, we offer an opportunity to try out 10 different dishes at local food stand as well as local family restaurants.

A rotating menu from day-to-day to represent the variety of delicious options, but tastings might include, but are subject to change: rice noodle soup with beef, rice noodle with chicken, rice noodle with grilled pork, snail, or dry noodle, sticky rice, along with various kinds of donut, steamed pancake or Vietnamese sandwiches.

    Our guide was Luc. He was terrific and took our small group to some really out of the way places in the Old Quarter. He was very knowledeable and our conversations strayed well beyond food to cover history, politics and young peoples lives in Hanoi. Fully recomended.

    This is such a fun tour, highly recommend it to anyone wanting to try great food and see the Old Quarter though a local's eyes. Duy, our guide, was fabulous. He took us to his favorite places - excellent food - summer rolls, catfish, and home brew being our favorites. Duy followed up with recommendations for our time in Hanoi. He went above and beyond to ensure we had a fabulous experience and time in Hanoi. This tour was the right mix of history, fables, sights, and superb food. A must do tour when in Hanoi.

    We had an amazing time on this tour and the food is just insane. Every dish was yummy and there were many dishes so make sure you come hungry. Furthermore, the guides are very knowledgeable and shared great insights about vietnamese food and culture with us. We highly recommend this tour!

    I booked this tour for myself and my 70 year old dad for our first day in Hanoi. We took a walk when we first arrived and felt quite overwhelmed by the city. Our guide Luke was fantastic, the tour around the old quarter wonderful and the food was out if this world. The tour left us feeling more confident to access street food for ourselves, navigate the insane traffic and enjoy our time in the city. I would highly recommend doing this. Thank you Luke.

    Really great and informative tour. Minh was a brilliant guide, who had a great personality and was very knowledgeable about local Hanoi food. He was able to adjust the tour based on people’s tastes as well as for vendor closures over Tet. He had real relationships with the street food vendors and restaurant workers that showed a genuine depth, not someone just going through the motions. The tour takes you a ranger of places that would be very difficult to find without the help of a guide. Minh was honest and genuine in his reflections and insights on food and Vietnamese culture more broadly. We got sick on the afternoon of when our tour was initially scheduled and the organisers rearranged for us without fuss. Strongly recommend.
