Sinclair was great. In addition to the food tour he explained interesting facts about Hong Kong. He also took great pics of us. Highly recommend

The small group Hong Kong island food tour was a great culinary journey. The dim sum was a delightful assortment of dumplings, spring rolls and rice rolls, each bursting with unique flavors. The flaky and sweet egg tart left a lasting impression, and the wanton noodles were perfectly balanced in taste and texture. The rich and aromatic milk tea was a refreshing treat, especially under the scorching hot sun. Riding the iconic tram added a charming touch to the tour. Our food tour guide Sinclair’s knowledge of local cuisine and history added depth to the experience. Overall, the tour provided a fantastic blend of traditional flavours and cultural exploration.

Our group had a wonderful time with Mel! He took us to so many wonderful restaurants, taught us about the history of Hong Kong and just had so many fun chats! Thank you for a great tour Mel! We will definitely recommend to friends that are visiting Hong Kong to book this tour also!

As fairly experienced travelers we were looking for a food tour that could take us places outside the standard blog recommendations and provide an introduction to Hong Kong and the range of cuisines it has to offer. Mel, our guide, gave us the exact experience we were looking for! We were able to visit a variety of restaurants, all with absolutely excellent food and interesting backgrounds. It was clear that the staff at the restaurants we visited were familiar with and friendly with Mel which resulted in extra fresh dishes, photos with chefs, and tastings at local stores. Additionally, his deep knowledge allowed us to understand more about the history of individual restaurants and food culture in Hong Kong. Mel was very open, friendly, and kind. He took the time to engage in conversation with our group and included information about non-food-related sites we passed, and areas of interest for our consideration throughout the rest of the trip. I would absolutely recommend this tour and look forward to future tours with this team!

Guided by the wonderful Mel, we strolled through the bustling streets of Hong Kong. We started with Dim Sum, moved onto BBQ and ended with egg tarts and soup dumplings with quail egg waffles, tea sampling, Mandarina Duck and dozens of sweets thrown in because Mel thought we’d like it. Showing his depth of knowledge and flexibility he adapted our itinerary to include a visit to see some traditional medicine and the fabric markets. A thoroughly enjoyable day. Cannot recommend enough. NOTE- heed the warning in the tour guidance - Do not eat breakfast!

This tour surpassed all expectations my friends and I had! I definitely recommend it to anyone visiting Hong Kong for the first time! Our tour guide, Mel, was kind, knowledgeable, and attentive. He included various stops ranging from Michelin Guide restaurants to pioneers in Dim sum and wontons. He also worked around a last-minute dietary restriction I had forgotten to mention beforehand! Thanks to his connections we were able to sample traditional Cantonese sweets for free and attend a traditional tea ceremony as well! He didn't limit the tour to food though, he made sure to share his extensive historical knowledge about the neighborhoods we walked through and show us some up-and-coming areas like the Central Market. When I go back to Hong Kong, I'll most definitely try to book another tour with him!

We had Mel as our guide, his local knowledge is excellent. Mel is a very welcoming and pleasant person. He explains everything well and introduces you to the local cuisine. His knowledge of the area and the best places to eat is second to none. He even throws in a few extra points to help you through your stay in Hong Kong. He asked us what sort of things we would be doing whilst in Hong Kong and gave us a few ideas so that we made the most out of our visit. The food we had whilst on this tour was excellent and varied, we also stopped at a little tea shop which was refreshing.

This was an excellent tour. A great mix of local restaurants, and lots of information about local food culture and also some British influenced food. The length of the tour was good (approx 4 hours from start to finish) and the knowledge of the guide (Mel) was excellent. I would definitely do this again, and have recommended to friends.

We had an excellent food tour with Jane! We went to multiple places and tried many types of food, including dim sum, spring rolls, buns, hot tea, won ton noodle soup, iced milk tea, roasted meat (pork) and an egg tart. Most of the places were Michelin-recommended and the food quality was excellent and plentiful! Jane also provided a great deal of interesting information related to Hong Kong and its people. Could not recommend enough!

Guide was knowledgeable, friendly and great. He was well prepared and ensured our food restrictions were taken care of while still ensuring we tried various things. He also was patient and willing to stop and entertain all our questions enroute
