Out trip to Montserrat was extremely pleasurable. Our guide Ain, was knowledgable of the Montserrat monastery and its history. The winery and tapas experience was very good, and we had a small group due the Covid 19 scare. It was like we had a private tour and tasting.

Our tour was perfect. Jordi gave us the perfect amount of information for each part of the tour.
The time allowed for each part of the tour was planned in such a way that we were not rushed but felt that each experence was complete. Our tour was combined with three other groups and we got to meet three other guides that were also well prepared, with their knowledge of all the tour stops as well as the english language.

Great day out with our guide Dani. Montserrat is stunning and the walk to the cross is recommended (although tiring!) as the scenery is amazing. Wine tour was good too.

We greatly enjoyed this tour! Montserrat was breathtaking. Max our guide was so informative. The wine tasting with tapas was better than anticipated. I would highly recommend this tour!

We had a wonderful time on this tour. It was a great, relaxing way to spend the day in Montserrat. We were lucky based on the time of year (end of February) in that it wasn’t busy so we moved quickly through the viewing of the Black Madonna and the tour of the monastery. Because of this we actually had about 70 minutes of free time - enough to browse the art museum and do a liquor tasting (both recommended if time allows). The winery was beautiful and the cold tapas lunch was actually really good. Our tour guide Aina was very helpful, friendly and knowledgeable about both Montserrat and it’s history as well as the wines and wine making in the region. A great day!

David was an excellent guide with a great background in history and wine making. He was funny and engaging and gave us lots of great information. The wine and tapas were excellent. He called us his family which made us all laugh. Nice small group of 8 which was awesome!!! I definitely recommend this tour!

We really enjoyed our trip to Montserrat. Our guide, Ana, was absolutely lovely and very engaging. We also visited the Oller del Mas winery and has Max as our tour guide for this component of the trip. We learned so much about Spanish wines from Max and had such an enjoyable experience at this beautiful winery. The tapas lunch was very tasty and consisted of meat, cheeses, bread, potato salad, and a local cheesecake for dessert. There were also 3 large pour wines that were tasted. We would highly recommend this tour.

Ona was a wonderful and friendly guide who is super knowledgeable. Hey information helped us for the rest of our visit. Beautiful- don’t miss this!

  • 29-Jan-2020

The tour guides were excellent. Really good fun. Montserrat was beautiful and the vineyard was so cool to visit, even in the winter. Really enjoyed lunch and the more relaxed, laid back approach to wine tasting.

Montserrat is a beautiful place to visit. The Church itself is beautiful. Well worth a visit. Don't think you need a guide however. You could do it much less expensive on your own. Just a little research and you would know all that we were told. The winery was disappointing. There were 3 bottles of wine to taste between 13 people. Barely a taste for all, the tapas were cheese and bread and olives, also disappointing. Not worth the cost. The wine wasn't very good either. Barely a tour of the winery. The guide Mercedes was knowledgeable and personable. Enjoyed her a lot.
