Our guide was knowledgeable and enthusiastic. I liked that the tour is a small group walk around downtown. With about 90 minutes, for the tour- it left me wanting to see and do more in Austin.

I loved the history of the Frost building because it has such a big significance in the change that Austin made in that year that it was built.

Loved learning about the history of Austin and looking at the original buildings still here. Also an easy walk.

Our tour guide Jim was truly amazing! We went on this tour with our 3 school aged children. He told engaging stories and shared lots of trivia. Really felt like we got to see the city! It was a warm day but we didn’t even feel it because of the way he made sure we were always in the shade and on a breezy street. Would highly recommend this tour to anyone wanting to see Austin!

Tyler was an excellent guide! He is personally interested in music and good food (his own words!) so he pointed out places to eat and listen throughout the tour. He also made an effort to entertain my 12-yr old son with anecdotes of the colorful history of “Colonel” Driskill, Sam Houston, Evangeline Embry, And Lyndon B Johnson. We learned quite a bit and really enjoyed the discussions and sightseeing. It was short at about 1.5 hrs and around a mile walking loop but that was perfect for my son. Tyler pointed us towards other things to do and see following the official tour which we also enjoyed. We visited the Austin Public Library at his suggestion and just loved it! Gorgeous architecture and indoor/outdoor transitions. Right on the river and a LEED Platinum building- absolutely superb.
