We really enjoyed this boat trip especially cruising through the islands. Our guide Carolina was friendly and very informative, managing both Spanish and English speaking clients. The trip was well timed -a very restful way to see an area outside of the city.
We really enjoyed this tour. Our guide Rosty was excellent. His English was excellent and he was extremely knowledgeable and pleasant. The boat journey makes up about an hour or so of the experience and seeing the houses of the residents was interesting. The fruit market and cathedral stops are ok too but we’re quiet for us on the time we visited. The driver was great too! A star taken away as it was a little bit expensive, over €80 per person. We would’ve liked to give Rosty and the driver more of a tip but hard to justify with the price.
A pleasant cruise up the Tiger River, followed by a nice lunch and van tour of San Isidro. Our guide Miguela was outstanding and very knowledgeable. Pickup and dropoff at our hotel made things very easy!
This was not a small group and this was not a tour. The boat trip was pleasant enough, but I cannot call a guided tour some sparce pre-recorded commentary, shared with several other groups of tourists. As for our guide, the bare minimum was said outside the boat. It wasn’t probably the guide’s fault as much, the Signature Tours didn’t plan the trip well, didn’t train the guides well. So, when we arrived, we were taken to a not very good “lunch” place and then to a completely uninteresting market place! And that about it! We were not even taken around Tigre, which boasts some interesting historical connections! It was absolutely awful! I do not regret so much the waste of the money as the waste of my time! No thank you. Just go there on your own (you can get more information about the place from any travel book) - do not bother with any tour company, especially not the signatures tours!
We again had problems with Signature Tours. We were to be picked up at the hotel and they told us to meet at the Hilton! We had trouble contacting through What's Up. Finally we did and they picked us up by bus at our hotel. Again watch that everything is detailed in the itinerary! Romina our guide did a good job. It was interesting to see how the city had changed and from what I could see is basically dying. The cathedral is okay, not great. The boat trip was also just okay. The delta is like that in the US. Most of the poorer people live in the region. Commerce has virtually ended. Thankfully the other tourists were pleasant. Lunch was just okay, not great. IF one eats a great deal it won't be enough and it's quick.
Good itenerary and stops. Nicholas our guide was very helpful, friendly and professional, paying attention to the details.
ABSOLUTELY LOVED AND ENJOYED this awesome, fun, relaxing and interesting boat cruise and tour of Argentina's spectacular Delta Region with Signature Tours on Friday, Sept. 9, 2022. Our tour guide (Niki) was extremely knowledgeable about the Delta region and about the two very quaint and charming cities (Tigre and San Isidro) that we visited while on this cruise and tour. He was charming, attentive to our needs, fun and very professional all at the same time. This is the PERFECT way to explore this region and to escape the hustle and bustle of Buenos Aires even if it is only for just one day. I could have easily spent several more days just exploring these two quaint little cities and this beautiful region of Argentina. Our group lunch at Vivianca (spelling?) was awesome and I thoroughly enjoyed the delicious empanadas that I ate there. The building that houses this restaurant is beautiful and worth seeing on its own accord. IN CONCLUSION, I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND this wonderful tour to anyone seeking to explore a very beautiful and interesting region of Argentina that is physically so close to Buenos Aires, but feels like it is a world away, and to do so with SIGNATURE TOURS, which is a very professional tour company.
Great getaway to see how people live on the Delta! From the police department to the floating grocery store... We had the BEST tour guide, Emiliano for the day too! Informative on everything, told us great stories, and just made the day so much fun! Stopped at a restaurant for delicious empanadas and cold beer! Then to an open air shopping mall to shop the hand made goods of the town and to the Catedral of Isidro! So beautiful. Really so much fun!!! Just a great quick trip for the day! You will love this tour! BOOK IT NOW!
Excellent experience. Leandro Agudo was a fabulous guide. He looked after us well and kept us informed about all three local sights
We had a perfect day for our excursion that made the boat ride quite enjoyable. It was a nice break after 2 days of exploring the.city to get away and view BA from a different perspective. Our tour guide was amazing and had to do double duty as our small group spoke both English and Spanish. He was a font of information and I learned so much about BA, the Delta, Tigre as well as the other towns we visited. The lunch in Tigre before driving back to BA was wonderful and in a beautiful setting. I highly recommend this wonderful getaway.
