What a great way to see the city and learn about some of its history. Our guide Jamie was fantastic. Always made sure our safety came first, to the point he walked us most of the to our hotel at the end. Had a lot of fun, definitely recommend

Jaime was an excellent guide. He was incredibly knowledgeable about areas of cultural importance throughout Santiago, and he was able to point us in the right direction to have a successful stay here in Santiago. Would highly recommend this tour.

We had a really good time on our tour with Jamie who took us to all the main sites and gave us an insight into life in Santiago. The tour was moved forward (after checking with us if we were happy to do it earlier) to avoid clashes with the Friday night protests which was really useful but we also managed to get a few photos with the police horses! Communication before the tour was great and I would recommend this to anyone who wants to see the main parts of the city.

We are always a believer that there is no better way to learn about a city than on a bike early in your stay. There is no better way to learn Santiago than with this tour and Jaime Valdovinos as your guide He took us to a number of the important areas in the city and gave us great insight into the history and why the city is like it is. No punches were pulled in telling us some of the history that other guides might shy away from. As a result we feel like we have a much improved appreciation for the area. He pointed out a number of places that we have traveled back to for food and relaxation. The amount of photos that he took and shared with us were amazing! Jaime also has an infectious personality that we enjoyed and added an entire new level to the experience. Communication, pre-tour, was top notch and we never felt like we did not know where to go to start things off

I was nervous about riding a bike at night through a new city but Balthazar made it easy. He’s an expert on a mountain bike but let me go at my own pace and stop when I needed to. It’s a great way to check out the way the neighborhoods change and you may get to interact with interesting locals. Be sure to ask for recommendations on places to eat and drink! I had a blast!

While our guide, Jaime, was outstanding, the condition of our bikes was mediocre. After about 10 minutes of riding, the gears in my bike wouldn’t hold due, it turned out, to a lot of obvious debris in the gears. A replacement bike was brought quickly to the rescue; however, when it got dark, i found out neither of the lights on the bike were charged so neither worked. We learned a lot about Santiago during the tour from Jaime, but the bikes did not seem well maintained and I was not comfortable riding through car and pedestrian traffic for 2 dark hours without bike lights. If you choose this tour company, make sure the bikes are in good shape, especially if riding at night!

Had a very good night ride last night with Andreas. We’re 58 and 60 and not particularly fit - so long as you can ride a bike it’s fine. We got lots of info on Santiago and Chile and saw some really terrific parts of town. Two things of note - I think it would be helpful if the directions to get to the starting point noted it’s a house in a residential area (not an office front) and a chance to stop en route for a drink somewhere would have been good. So many fun looking places and we just whizzed past.

Fabiana/ Rj
