This tour is very nice. The guide was very professional and gave us good and very interesting explanations about Lithuanian History, customs and ways of life. I really recommend this tour if you want to be out of Vilnius for a while

Good and well informative trip - within decent time too as we were able to still explore Vilnius a little more when we got back. If we spent longer in trakai then would have had the chance to relax by the lake and take a boat ride.

They told me 3 days ahead that they didn't have enough people to do my tour and I could move it to another day or pay more for a private tour. After paying for the private tour, I saw the other group leader with a small group of people. Honestly, I felt scammed and the woman who led us although very nice, spoke difficult English and reeked of strong cologne and cigarette breath. She spent a very long time and the memorial and rushed us at the Castle. Disappointing as the Castle and lake was quite beautiful and needed to more time to enjoy it fully. You could either have lunch, take a short walk or a boat ride but not enough time for more than one. For a private tour I wasn't happy.

Originally I was mostly interested in Trakai castle, due to recomendations in the Internet. I did enjoy the visit a lot. Our guide proofed combining the Tour with the topic of jewish history in Vilius and the Holocaust in the 1940th here, is a topic that is more than worth being mentioned on the ride there. Very good knowledge of our guide and I felt very welcome.

A great experience. My tour guide Andrew picked me up from my hotel, took me to the site of the Vilnius Ghetto, followed by the Paneriai Memorial Park, finishing with Trakai Town and its spectacular castle. Friendly and well-versed in Lithuanian history, Andrew made each location come to life. Great value for money – would very much recommend for those travelling solo.

This was my first ever tour, usually just exploring solo or whoever I'm with, but it's definitely inspired me to do others. It was interesting and insightful, made the descriptions and places far more engaging than just looking and wandering around. Having someone with local knowledge brought the sites to life far more than just doing it by yourself. He was there ahead of schedule and was patient while I took a few minutes to find my wallet. He was chatty and friendly and I learnt a lot, on far more than just the places we visited too, his passion for the history makes it even more engaging. Fully recommended and an enjoyable day
