The guide was very knowledgeable and friendly. I would have enjoyed the opportunity to visit a second winery. Overall a great experience.

Karim was an amazing guide, it was very personalized and we enjoyed every minute of it! The information provided on the way really helped us understand when we got there too. Thank you!

Great informative small group tour. It was great to visit St Emilion for an afternoon and one of the vineyards. We loved the winemakers wine, but we thought we would be sampling a number of wines from the region, which we didn't on the day. However, the guide and tour was informative all the same.

This tour consisted of a visit to the town itself and then to a winery that had 2 different areas. The town visit was just okay, as the walk to the center was very steep, so those of us with knee issues stayed near the top, where we were dropped off. We would have preferred being dropped off and picked up at the town center, near the bottom. The 2 connected wineries were interesting, but they were typical winery tours. At the end of the visit, when we were sampling wine and chocolate, it would have been nice to have a place to sit down for a few minutes. That was not offered to us, though there were stacks of chairs on the outside deck. With a few tweaks, this tour could be greatly improved to meet everyone's needs. The tour guide was very good and friendly, and I'm sorry to have forgotten her name.

Excellent half day trip. The guide, Karim, was brilliant, engaging with everyone through in a fun, but informative way. Vineyard tour and tasting very good, despite a problem trying to buy wine at the end!! Highly recommended.

It was a lovely afternoon and Valery shared a lot of information with us on our drive to the winery as well as in St Emilion. "Lily" at the winery provided an in depth lesson in the growing and production of wine at this very lovely location and we all enjoyed the tasting. St Emilion is charming and I would really have liked to have more time there to enjoy the visit. We were back in Bordeaux a little before 6:00 pm, and I would have liked another 30 minutes in St Emilion and returned a little later. The wine cave we saw was very cool!

Our trip to St. Emilion went very smoothly from start to finish. We were met by our tour guide at the Tourism Office in Bordeaux where she introduced herself and explained the itinerary for the morning. The drive to St. Emilion took approx. 1 hour but it didn’t feel like an hour as our guide was explaining about the history of wine in the region and the influence of the sun, soil and water on the grapes.
Once in St. Emilion we visited Villeneuve Vineyard and were shown around the processing plant and the storage caves by James our extremely knowledgeable Sommelier. Our visit included wine tasting which James hosted in the village of St. Emilion where we sampled 6 delicious local red wines with the opportunity to purchase!
Our visit concluded with free time to explore the architecture and retail opportunities of St. Emilion. We then met our tour guide for a smooth ride back to Bordeaux.

We thoroughly enjoyed our half day St Emilion tour with Clement, who provided lots of insight, knowledge of wine and local tips! A good group and an entertaining and expert guide. As others have commented, anyone looking to see more of the town would be better booking a full day trip, but this was an ideal introduction to the region and its winemaking - as well as tasting!
