Our route:

Departure Split
Bisevo island, Blue cave
Bisevo island, Monk seal cave
Ravnik island, Green cave (pass by)
Budikovac island, blue lagoon (Lunch & time for swimming/snorkeling)
Vis island, Smokova bay, sandy beach
Hvar island, Hvar town (time for sightseeing)
Brac island, Milna (Wine tasting)
Arrival Split

As we are operating on open sea, the nautical weather prognoses are sometimes unpredictable. There are some days during the year (very rare) with strong southwest wind, so it would be not possible to reach island of Bisevo and Vis. Under these sea/weather conditions the Blue Cave and Monk Seal Cave are closed as the entrance of the caves are small. In these situations we change the tour to a another route. Depending on the wind direction it can be the Pakleni islands, Hvar and Brac, lunch at blue lagoon Marinkovac and wine tasting included. Another option is Drvenik island, Vela Rina sandy beach and Krknjasi blue lagoon, lunch on island Solta at a unique location (restaurant Sampjer), wrecksnorkeling in Nejucam and of course wine tasting on island Brac. So the tours will be amazing for sure and of course for everyone there is the option to cancel the tour. We do not want disappointed guests, that's why we make this comment ''honesty is the best policy''. Hope for your understanding.

  • This was the best way to experience Croatia. The tour encompassed it all with food and wine, snorkeling, picturesque scenery and a heart racing boat ride. The crew was excellent, friendly and everything was well organized. It was the best part of our trip! Highly recommended!

  • This tour was amazing!

  • Refused to let us attend with our child. Not helpful, waste of money.

  • This day trip was absolutely amazing! Best value for money! The crew were friendly, informative and created an awesome vibe for the day. I would definitely recommend this trip be added to your checklist... otherwise you would be missing out!

  • Full day on the water , if you don t like high speed water rides this is not for you ,Highlight was the blue cave and swimming in Brac, Wine tasting was just ok , probably could do away with one or two of the stops as it was a long day

  • This tour is definitely a MUST do when you visit Split. The visit to the Blue Caves was absolutely breathtaking as was the visit to the Island of Hvar where we made the climb to the fortress. The view up there is AMAZING so be sure to wear your walking shoes and bring your camera! We also really loved the visit to the winery! The owner makes the most delicious wine, which she sells at very affordable prices. She also makes natural soaps and oils. We ended up buying all 3!

  • This tour is absolutely fantastic! The boat we were on comfortably seated 12 people. The visit to the Blue Cave was so beautiful..be sure to bring a camera, the water was amazing! We got to visit the Island of Hvar where we were able to walk around for a bit. My fiancé and I went up to the fortress which is a pretty good walk but well worth the climb for the view you'll see when you get to the top! We also LOVED the visit to the winery where we bought a bottle of wine and lavender oil that is homemade by the owner. This tour is definitely a MUST DO when you're in Split, such a great way to see the surrounding islands!

  • We thoroughly enjoyed this trip. The guides we had were informative and very pleasant to talk to. Would highly recommend this adventure!

  • This tour was amazing!

  • We enjoyed our time on the tour because it is hard not to enjoy speeding around in the water on a nice day. But the tour was not as advertised -- we did not go to Hvar one of the main reasons I booked the trip, since we were otherwise not going to visit Hvar, did not have the wine tasting, and did not go to Smokova bay in Vis. We also did not eat lunch on Budikovac we ate elsewhere. Also, the listing said that the group would be no more than 10, but in reality, our tour was made up of 3 boats probably around 25 people that traveled together. This was a problem in terms of time management, as part of the reason why we missed out on stops was because one person went to the bathroom at a time when they apparently shouldn't have -- but with such a large group, there was not a lot of communication. Finally, we thought that there would be more information, given that the description said that the skipper would tell us about the Adriatic coast and its flora/fauna, but there was very little information provided.

The reason for all of the changes was supposedly weather and the one person taking too long in the bathroom, specifically wind -- but the day we went was beautiful, so if the schedule can be so drastically affected by relatively normal weather patterns, perhaps less should be promised. Additionally, the skippers knew about the wind in advance, telling us before we even left the dock that it would pick up in the afternoon and giving us a slightly adjusted itinerary. Yet at each stop, there were more and more changes and replacements to promised activities e.g., we went to Trogir at the end instead of Brac for the wine tasting -- not ideal for those of us who had already been, not anticipating that the boat trip would take us there.

If you want a boat trip to see some things in the area off Split, and you don't really care what you see/where you go and are more just in it for the boating, this would be a fine trip to reserve although you might have more comfortable options -- the rigid-inflatable boat has straddle seats that feel like riding a horse, which we found made us pretty sore by the end. But don't go into it expecting that you will go where the listing says you will go. And maybe look into the competition when you arrive in Split, because there are TONS of boat tours and companies some of which are a good deal cheaper, so we might have picked something else if we hadn't booked in advance through TripAdvisor/viator.
