Simih was an excellent guide with an impressive knowledge of his city and its history. We never felt rushed at any stage and his relaxed manner and excellent English made it an informative and enjoyable tour. Highly recommended.

Despite it being a chilly morning, it was a morning that was filled with adventure. Elgiz is a great storyteller on how everything came to be, in the most authentic way. We went to all the various must see locations including: Hagia Sophia, Blue Mosque, Basilica Cistern, Topkapi Palace. She also brought us to two local spots (to drink turkish tea, eat meatballs (kofte); as well as a traditional rug shop.

Would do a tour with her again.

    1. It's a lot of walking, be sure to use the wash closets when you can. (they're 1 TRY and you can use your metro card if needed).
    2. Scarf is needed for the Blue Mosque, no shoes allowed.

Our guide Lale was excellent. Arrived on time, got well acquainted and was informative, witty and courteous

We were supposed to be on a group tour but my wife and I ended with a private tour. Our guide was very knowledgeable and took things at a pace that suited us. All in all it couldn't have been better.

This tour is a must especially for the first timer. You get to see Haiga Sophia, the Blue Mosque, Topkapi Palace and the Grand bazaar. This is a small group tour and essentially it was a private tour since we were the only ones on it. You get an overview of the history to get you started.

we very much enjoyed our day with Lale. There was one more couple with us, so it was essentially a private tour. Our guide was interested in: who we are, what we do, and what interests us. Then she managed the tour accordingly. Her English is good, she is knowledgeable and articulate. She adjusted the pace to our interest , and later in the day - went into a couple of shops with my wife, to help her bargain and select what she was looking for.

Istanbul is a great city and this tour took us to many unique places. The tour guide was very professional and knowledgable. My only big complaint was the constant apparent expectation for us to buy stuff at the various shops we visited. The Turkish rug guy was a nice guy but very pushy in trying to get us to by a $2500 Turkish rug ! Are you kidding me ?

We had slightly similar experiences in other shops on this tour.
Because of that I have to downgrade the ratting from a 4 to a 3.

    Thank you

Our guide was very nice and knowledgeable. We took the tour with 2 kids. Although there was alot of walking involved, we loved every min of it. It was nice to learn about history and culture of beautiful Istanbul.

Great if you have only a few days - this tour means you see the main sights and you have a guide with a wealth of knowledge. We knew the history of it all by the time we left. Our guide was very friendly too. Took us to pudding shop for lunch which was delicious.
They called ahead to tell Hotel what time they’d arrive and it was all to schedule. Ended up being just my partner and I as no one else had booked for this day! So a private tour which was great.
