A beautiful way to spend a morning in Windhoek. You can see giraffe, wildebeest, zebra and Impala all on foot, whilst spotting Windhoek city in the distance. The birdlife was prolific and the 6.5km walk offered spectacular views and a chance to relax in the cool morning air whilst watching the sunrise. Josef (the guide) was very friendly and passionate about his job, and I had a great time chatting to him while we walked. I definitely recommend to anyone looking to stretch the legs and see some wildlife while you have a day in Windhoek

I took this tour with Raymond, who was a great guide. He showed up punctual at the pick up point and was very friendly and open-minded during the whole tour. He talked a lot about the area itself, the plants, and the animals. He also explained a lot about traditional hunting techniques, which were practiced by his ancestors.

I had a great hike with tour guide Raymond at the Horseshoe Hiking Trail at Moonraker Adventure Camp. The weather was warm and comfortable for the morning hike; Raymond picked me up from my hotel right on time, and had a bag of snacks prepared for the hike. On the trail he taught me about every animal we came across, and the different types of trees and plants as well; very knowledgeable. I would recommend this tour to anyone, and I'd do it again!

I did the hike with Raymond. It was a very beautiful hike trough the nice landscape. Raymond could tell me a lot about the landscape and living in Namibia. I really enjoed it. After the hike, we had a very nice breakfast which was a surprise for me. Don't be afraid about the time early in the morning, you will see a beautiful sunrise which is worth it. I can just recommend it. Thanks Laura

I have really enjoyed the walk in the nature and the breakfast at the end was great. Thank you to Chameleon team and particularly to Raymond, who have been with me since my Namibian adventure!

I would highly recommend this activity to anyone staying in the Windhoek area. Beene was a friendly and knowledgable guide who provided lots of information on the flora and fauna of the local region. She also has a hawk eye for spotting all of the animals/game! The group size ensures it remains personal with opportunities to ask questions. The duration of the hike and the terrain were pleasant and manageable. Would definitely do this again given the opportunity!

This was a 6.5km hike through (at this time of year) dry bush. Our knowledgeable and friendly guide stopped several times to talk about the various plants and animals we saw. We had sightings of warthog, oryx and some other antelope species. Although the walk isn't long, there are some steep, but short, gradients, and a few places where the trail is quite rocky. A decent pair of walking shoes is recommended.
