A perfect Tour with Annemarie. After a warm welcome we visited the Supreme Court and the wonderful Library of Congress. Annemarie explaned everything in in a perfect way and pointed out the most importand issues; she was able to answer all our questions. Our Highlight was the guest gallery of the House of Representatives. It was an impressive experince.

This was a very cool educational tour. Our tour guide Kate was very knowledgeable, took on a very well planned tour through time, even creating characters and roll played as we explored the exhibits. This tour helped in understanding the flow of the museum, the stories behind the exhibits, and insight into why and how the museum was created. This was so much better than "winging" it.

Today Leigh was our guide. The question on tours like is whether they’re worth the additional money or if the museum experience is enough without the additional experience and expense of a guided tour. In this case the tour was MORE than worth the money. Leigh was enthusiastic, interesting, knowledgeable and FUN. This place is seriously humongous and she took us to what she felt are the high points and those in which her knowledge would be of greatest value. The Hope Diamond (and many diamonds), Henry the giant elephant, the sharks, the underwater salt water tank, and the dinosaurs were outstanding. We spent a lot of time at the spiders which isn’t my thing - but is also cool. I learned so much and the small group environment was a fun and intimate tour experience. Also, 2 1/2 hours long is just about right in a place such as this. Not too long and not too short. Saw a ton, learned a lot, had fun. Five stars for sure. Thank you Leigh!
