The guide was great, told us the history of the area and took to authentic places to eat. We tried Italian food, that is eaten by locals and we did not even know about. The group consisted of 4 people and experience was very personal
Excellent tour with guide Mattai, his knowledge of Italian food and Trastevere area was second to none. I would definitely recommend this tour if you want to learn about the area while trying many delicious Italian street food options
I love neighborhood food tours and this did not disappoint me, or my 15 year old granddaughter. Our guide was Alessia and we learned some really entertaining and interesting history along the way as well. Food stops were wonderful. Great way to pass a few hours quickly!
We really enjoyed our tour. Mathias gave us some good information on the area and the food was excellent..
The best tour we took in Rome. It was informative, delicious, fun, and unique.
I highly recommend this tour! Giorgio our guide met me and my friend exactly on time at the meeting point. It ended up being just us 2. He was so friendly, highly educated and full of historical and art historical knowledge, and was such a great guide to converse with. He took us on a 3 hour tour in Trastevere and highlighted so many landmarks, explained the history and of course organised at least 5 wonderful tastings. He was so considerate and added a few things on the way in accordance with our background and really made sure we were happy and satisfied at all time. If you are in Rome, take the tour. It's the least expensive one on the list but don't let that confuse you. You get so much from this tour. I took a similar tour last year in Rome in another area, priced the same as opposed to other tours and it was the best! i chose this one according to the same criteria and of course was not disappointed. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! Giorgio - you were great!!! Thank you so much.
I fell in love with Trastevere! It seems to be in a small village with alleys and familiar atmosphere instead of a capital district! Trastevere means beyond the river and it is amazing to discover how the look of Rome changes crossing the Tiber. Even better doing it through a Street food tour! We started our tastings in a very old biscuit factory, visited a typical local grocery the one in the picture! where we ate cheese, salami and more... I dont want to spoil the surprise. Do this tour and you will not regret.
