We had a great day with San (sorry for spelling it wrong :). He is a very knowledgeable guide who knows when to talk and when to just let you enjoy the views.

The bike ride was great and the lunch was truly excellent. The one complained I had for the day was the harassment of the vendors during the boat ride, but that is unavoidable and nothing to do with the guide and this trip :)

Oh, and it's hot. Dear god was it hot. If you go in summer bring a lot of water :)

This tour with San was just spectacular. The scenery is incredible and unique. The bike ride through the village and rice paddies was everything we could hope for. Mother Nature stepped in and delivered a water show the likes of which I've never seen but her shinanigans only served to make this trip more fun and memorable! If you're looking for some fun, light activity not far from the hustle and bustle of Hanoi then definitely give this tour a whirl. It's a lovely, peaceful way to spend a day.

Nice guide and a lovely tour in the Ninh Binh area. We stopped by a local family for lunch, It was great.
I'd love to have a bigger and faster bike tour.

Wonderful way to see the countryside, Tam Coc and the limestone karsts! Our guide was delightful and shared many interesting facts about his country and region. Bikes were in good condition and the lunch was overwhelming! Take an appetite! Also take bottled water with you! not many vendors there in November.

A really enjoyable day. The guide was very knowledgeable and friendly. Boar ride in the caves was awesome. The lunch that was arranged in the home of the villagers was scrumptious and they welcomed us with open arms. All-in-all an excellent package. The only word of caution is to be mindful of the weather as it could get a bit uncomfortable during the rainy season. Would definitely recommend!

Really enjoyed this trip, about an hour on a comfortable pushbike and and hour on a row boat through some stunning landscapes. Guide was very helpful and informative.

A great day from start to finish .. our wonderful friendly and funny guide Dong called me the night before to let me know what time he would be picking me up in the morning. His happy face greeted me as I came down the stairs and the smiles and laughter continued through the day as we rode, walked, ate, experienced and floated our way around some of the most beautiful scenery I have seen in Vietnam. No wonder Tam Coc is called Halong Bay on land .. serenely stunning. A great day with a fab guide in a beautiful part of Vietnam.

Best tour. So much to do and see. Guide was really great.

I chose this instead of a one-day Halong Bay tour, mostly to avoid the 2x4 hour bus rides. I'm so glad I did! The bike ride was incredibly scenic (some gravel roads so be sure you know what you're doing!), the home-cooked lunch was delicious, and the boat ride was spectacular! Small group perfect.
