Know More about this tour

Enjoy an unforgettable experience in the Chianti Classico wine country. Depart from Santa Maria Novella Train Station in Florence, and during the 45 minutes trip your driver/guide will give you an introduction about the Tuscan territory and wine culture.

Leaving the highway youll immerse yourself in the picturesque Tuscan landscape, with views of one of the most famous areas of the Chianti wine region. At the first estate, a wine expert will be waiting for you and the experience will start with an overview of the farm, followed by detailed explanations about the production process. Along the way, you'll taste three different wines and fresh olive oil.

Since each farm has its own unique technique in producing wine, the second stop will give you the chance to compare them. • Carlo, our driver/tour guide was excellent!!! Highly recommend this tour. Both wineries were enjoyable with delicious wine. Beautiful Tuscan countryside shared with interesting enjoyable fellow tourists. At the second winery we were able to see the process of producing olive oil. I found that extremely interesting. This tour was a highlight for my husband, daughter, and myself.

  • We will met at appointed time at the Railway Station and taken to our awaiting mini bus it was a luxurious minibus actually! My thoughts were that we would be driven to our first vineyard and then the driver would just wait for us. How wrong was I?? From the outset our driver, Carlo, was a huge part of our experience. He was hugely informative and as passionate about the wine and olive oil as those we were about to meet. Both vineyards were in beautiful settings but the experiences were different,.We felt the second one was more relaxed and the cheese and meats delicious. Would defintely recommend this trip

  • Excellent tour, knowledgeable tour guides. :

  • Carlo driver, Maria at first winery and I don't remember girl's name at second winery, but all were amazingly friendly, accommodating, and were so much fun this was probably our favorite part of our entire trip to italy - thank you!

  • One of the best parts of our trip. Carlos was awesome! Absolutely Beautiful Views, and both tastings were fantastic.

  • Just the right amount of information in an amazing setting. I have a new found appreciation for Chianti and you will too!

  • We went to 2 wineries. The first was great and informational. She spent a lot of time showing us how to tell if the wine is good quality and how to swish the wine in your mouth. We ordered 1/2 case of wine that actually arrived today! Less than 3 weeks to arrive. The second winery was bigger and they served cheese and salami with bruschetta. It was delicious! A lot more food there and she refilled your glass of wine constantly. This tour was definitely the biggest highlight for me!

  • Such a great experience! Carlos was an amazing and funny tour guide! Gave us bits and pieces of information before we got to the vineyards about the vineyards.

  • This was a really good half day tour. It was very easy to find the guide at the train station. Van was clean and comfortable. Driver was very safe. Both vineyards were beautiful and the wine was pleantiful. First stop had some nice bread and olive oil. Second stop had a nice snack of bruschetta and soprasatto. Only real negative is I thought wed be able to walk out into the vineyard and that was not offered.

  • This was one of our highlights on the trip. Carlo our driver made the whole experience just so much fun and very interesting. The wineries are well worth the effort. We really enjoyed the CASA SOLA winery. They are much more intimate and boutique. But the food at the second was just wonderful. We drank wine and bought wine and had a blast. Our group was great as well...probably a lucky coincidence! But we had a fun mix of young and old from all around the USA. This type of thing is a must if you are in Italy. The Tuscan region is just beautiful and you can feel that magic of the wine making when you are there.
