Departure was from a central point in Sofia near the Cathedral, and slightly delayed to wait for a guest who never turned up. The coach was very comfortable: reclining seats, aircon, USB points, and WiFi.
There were 18 in our party which was very manageable. Plovdiv was 1 90 minute drive, so it was odd that we stopped at a MacDonalds for 20 minutes after only a hour.

The structure of the rest of the day was fine: a leisurely walk through the old part of Plovdiv, an 90 minute lunch break and then a drive to a picturesque small village with free time to wander etc.

HOWEVER, our guide, Chris, whilst polite and helpful throughout, and with good English, often simply talked for the sake of talking, and instead of giving us a true insight into the region and history, felt it necessary to concentrate on many inconsequential aspects, repeat himself and make unfunny, repetitive remarks about "whiskey time" and "let's rock and roll" and his time working overseas. He needs to structure and modify his talk: it became rather boring an somewhat boorish.

Otherwise, a well-organised and enjoyable trip, and fair value for money, but one which could have been much more rewarding.

Our guide was enthusiastic and knowledgeable - she gave a great insight into Bulgarian traditions and we enjoyed trying the local food, dance and language!! It was interesting to experience another side of Sofia.

This tour was great! My husband and I loved it! Kathy was a great, energetic tour guide who interacted with her guests and answered every question no matter how silly. We got to learn a lot about Bulgarian history and culture and try tasty things! Thanks!

If there was something so extraordinary in this tour was tour guide ANNI, who was so knowledgeable of the Bulgarian life and not only about food and meals. She was always smiling and with a positive attitude made this tour so enjoyable and no one wanted to end it! Appretiatable comments on Communism, Bulgarian daily life, the unique Bulgarian red wines, and many other things make ANNI such an excellent your guide from the 365 Association tour company! Congratulations to tour guide ANNI, she will not be forgotten!

really good Tour! Kathy was very nice and funny! Only one thing there were a lot of different tours starting from the Justice Palace and we almost miss our guide because we can't find her among the hundreds of people there!

The guide was friendly and informative. The culture was first and foremost with a little bit of history. We walked a moderate distance at a comfortable pace. We had a good introduction to some traditional foods. It was a tour I would recommend.

I completely loved this tour! First of all, because of the concept of culture tour, which gives us the chance to get to know many samples of the Bulgarian culture in general. And also loved because the guide Ani was super dynamic and clear, explaining us the Bulgarian culture in many details in 3 hours! We had what it says on the website: We could enjoy it in all senses! And at the end Ani even sang to us, which was beautiful! I am very glad, it definetely made my trip to Bulgaria very special and I strongly recommend this tour!

This tour was amazing!!!!!! I was so nervous at first because I was doing this tour alone but the guides Viki and Alissa were so friendly and nice that I felt comfortable. The tour was really helpfully in understanding the Bulgarian culture better. The food and tea we tried was great and I even took some home! I had a great time and I recommend this tour if you go to Sofia!
