Very bad surprise!! The permanent collection was almost totally removed to host some exibitions!!! Never happened in my life!

The building itself is a must see, unique architecture (Frank Gehry). When we were there there was Gego s exhibition, not so much my taste, but also the Tannhauser collection, which was lovely, with paintings from Manet, Monet, Degas, Braque, Gauguin, van Gogh as well as Picasso s early years. Entrance is not cheap.

The building is the highlight of the visit, the contents are no better than my daughter's play school exhibition. Save yourself $25 and just look at it from the outside, there's nothing inside worth seeing.

Nothing to say much about the museum itself, but for an individual who is not familiar and fully appreciative or understand some of the modern art displayed then it was just for me another pastime.

Great experience many of the greats up close. The flow of the building was a great set up. You can see everything in about hour

The building is truly the art. It was the last thing FLW designed before his death. We both enjoyed the Young Picasso in Paris and some select other pieces that day. Was it the best exhibit we have seen at the Guggenheim? No, but it’s still fun to visit. FYI-if you are a Prairie Level FLW Trust member or higher you will receive 2 free admissions to the Guggenheim. We prefer to take the elevator to the top and work our way down. Hey, you walk enough in NYC. Also save some energy for a walk in Central Park right across the street from the museum.

What a fantastic experience. I was so taken with the huge Gego retrospective. I had no knowledge of this artist and presenting large exhibit was a wonderful way to correct that. Loved some of her sculptures and also the weavings. Quite beautiful. The show was well arranged and we were in the museum for two hours.

There was no tour guide as promised! I used your messaging system twice to ask, and no one responded! I had to go through the museum on my own. The exhibits were fabulous! And the staff was helpful in making my visit a pleasure despite the lack of a Viator tour guide! I could have done without Viator and booked the visit elsewhere. Will not use Viator again.

I was here in Nov 2022 for the Nick Cave exhibition which I absolutely loved. Definitely try to visit one of their exhibits if you get a chance! A wonderful celebration of queerness, using recycled materials, as well as some important pieces reflecting on race, and celebrating black power. The actual building is also a sight to behold, with a great location right next to central park. Despite it being a Saturday, there were still lots of quiet spaces to get lost in and enjoy the art.

Beautiful building, nice exhibitions. Loved Gego and Sarah Sze. Unfortunately they did not display Kandynski:(
