In mid-afternoon, meet and greet your guide in the Passeig del Born, then take a short 15-minute walk to the tasting location, a private room in a wine bar hidden in the winding streets of the Gothic Quarter.

Your guide is a native Catalan and professionally trained sommelier withexperience working in 3-star Michelin restaurants such as El Bulli and Celler de Can Roca, with a strong passion and knowledge for all local gastronomy. During the next 1.5-hours your guide will first explain everything you need to know about cava wines - their history, regions, and production processes. Then, they will guide you through a professional tasting session of 3 cavas, paired with an exquisite dessert of Catalan pastry by chef Carles Mampel.
