After a pickup from your Sorrento hotel in the morning (or afternoon), start your day with a visit to a local farm, Limoneto Storico 1894. Enjoy a walking tour of the citrus and olive groves, and learn about the farms history, production and traditional farming techniques. Then, head to the tasting room to sample the farms fresh products: lemonade, sliced lemons with sugar, fresh-pressed extra virgin olive oil and lemon and orange oil on homemade bread.
Your next stop is Il Turziello cheese factory to watch a demonstration on how to make treccia (braided mozzarella-like cheese) and caciotta (a soft and mild regional cheese). Enjoy a tasting of fresh provolone with salami, accompanied by a glass of wine.
After teasing your palate, its time for some classic Italian pizza. Head to Da Francesco restaurant, in the historical center of Schiazzano, for a hands-on pizza-making class. Learn how to make a typical Neapolitan pizza, and then sink your teeth into your creation, followed by homemade dessert and coffee.
Back at Limoneto Storico 1894, top off your gastronomic journey with fresh limoncello, the quintessential Italian liqueur. Youll even learn the family recipe! With a satisfied belly, relax on the journey back to your hotel.

Awesome!Local family owned farms and a lot of fun. Enjoyed learning about the lemon agriculture and products made on the farm. Adventurous ride to see the cheese man, excellent mozzarella. Pizza dough throwing topped off the day. Loved it.

Awesome tour!
This tour was so much fun and we learned so much from Klaudia as she was a native of the village, the “cheese man”, the limoncello makes, and the “pizza guys”! -
Excellent visit for the most part. Guide was super passionate about her village and had a wonderful sense of humour. Personally, I would recommend not taking the tour thru the barns to see the cows. Anyone with any knowledge of dairy farms would be saddened to see the condition of the animals (they never leave the barn, and were covered in feces). But the rest of the tour was a delight!

This was our favorite tour of all of Italy!!! We had such a fun time with the 3 family's we visited and the tour guide was exceptional. I would high recommend this tour. We laughed, tasted local Lemoncello, cheese, wine and made our own personal size pizza. The entertainment was a 5 star.

Claudia is a most excellent guide. This was so much more than a 'tour' but and educational experience.
My wife and I were so satisfied we still cant stop talking about it . Major highlight and memory maker of our honeymoon. The value you get for this wonderful day can not be overlooked. Yes, Im sure there are others but THIS tour with THESE people is a MUST -
My expectations weren't that high, but this group blew them away and then a whole bunch more. Each stop was well planned, informative and always had a tasting experience. The lemon farm was beautiful and the owners delightful. The Mozzarella/Cheese Farm was incredible and included fresh made cheese from an onsite cow milked 30 minutes before we arrived. It just doesn't get any fresher than that. And then the pizza making...just the best! I'm not giving details to spoil it, but book this experience now!

We boarded our bus for a 5 hour tour. What a ride! Our first stop was a lemon orchard. Learned about lemons and olives. Sampled lemonade, limoncello, 5 samplings of olive oil some infused with flavourings, and more limoncello. We then drove to a restaurant, where we were whisked away down a paved goat path in mini "Ferraris" to a cheese factory/farm. Where we learned about making mozzarella and ricotta. Sampled 3 cheeses and numerous glasses of red wine, also produced on the farm. Back into the Ferrari s (quite happy), to the restaurant, where we made our own pizzas; more wine. MAGNIFICO! Learned a lot, need to get home to put it into practice.

We had limoncello, olive oil, wine, cheese, a lot of cheese, and pizza. Great talks about each ingrediente and product. A lot of fun in the classic italian mini buses.
-
After an incredible bus climb to the hills above Sorrento, we were taught about lemons, limoncello and olives. Many samples followed. Following a short ride, we were amazed by the hand-making of mozzarella, caciottone, and ricotta. More sampling followed with vine. And then we threw, and ate, our own pizza. These folks are passionate about their work and a real delight.

Drive into countryside was lovely and the visits exceeded expectations. Claudia was our guide into a world of farm fresh lemons, lemincello and amazing cheese making, value of community. Fun and educational. Highly recommend this tour. Delicious tastings and pizza making.
